We stayed here for two nights, September 22-23, and we loved this hotel. We were touring southern Spain for 2 weeks and this was one of 4 hotels we stayed in during our trip and it was by far the best. The room was very clean, comfortable, and modern. Our room had 2 twin beds pushed together to make a king. The beds were comfortable, the room was decent sized with great motorized blackout shades, the bathroom was modern and roomy (no problem with the toilet seat size as mentioned in a previous review), and again I will emphasize the cleanliness. The hotel was also very quiet which was great. It is a business/conference type hotel but there wasn't much going on when we were there so it wasn't fully booked and therefore very quiet. The front desk staff was extremely helpful (they spoke English quite well, and helped us with driving directions to various destinations, recommendations for meals, and parking suggestions for when we drove downtown. The hotel is very close to a university so there are lots of tapas bars within walking distance, as well as a coffee/pastry shop close by which was nice for breakfast. Parking was 10 europs per night and was underground; we had no issues finding a parking space.

The only problem we had was with finding the hotel. We used google maps and it had us going in circles downtown, quite far from the hotel. We mentioned this upon our check-in and the desk clerk mentioned that this was an ongoing problem with google that they had tried to get corrected but so far to no avail.

Overall a great stay and we would definitely stay here again.

I have visited Granada on several occasions, and it is an amazing place, unfortunately this time I was let down by the hotel.
We arrived at 15h00 on Saturday afternoon and were greeted by a very unfriendly member of staff, I speak spanish so I understood all the bad words she was using while trying to work her way through the documentation which was unusually long. During this time she was chatting with her friends and not paying attention to the questions I was trying to ask. After all the formalities were complete she informed us that our room was not ready (although checkin was from 14h00). She did not apologise once and just told us to sit down. We decided to wait in the bar and I oredered some drinks. Again very unfriendly staff. The drinks did not come and after a while the receptionist called us over to collect the keys. I kindly went to the bar to let him know the drinks were no longer needed, he had obviously forgotten as he was hanging around, yet he was very angry when I told him to cancel them.
We got to the room, which was ok, although not the cleanest room I've been in. although it advertised a mini bar, there was only a bottle of water and an orange juice in the fridge. There wasn't any ironing equipment either which is unusual, even on request.
The novelty of the 'automatic toilet' quickly wears as the toilet seat is very small.
Drove into Granada early evening for a tour and dinner (which was great) and returned to find that the hotel had no parking space, and we were told to leave the car outside somewhere on the street. As I didnt want to do this I parked where I could inside and in the process damaged the car!
All in all its not that the hotel was particularly bad, its just that we felt so unwelcome there and we chose to be slightly outside of Granada so we could benefit from parking, but if there aren't any spaces available, whats the point!!!!!! So bad service + bad location = Avoid this hotel. Especially considering there are far more charming hotels in the centre.

Pretty much agree with all the positive reviews of this hotel. A bargain price for such a lovely and unusual hotel. My kids loved all the gadgets - my ten year old son in particular loved the high tech toilet, but that's boys for you. Groaned when a tour bus beat us to check in, but staff so well organised took them about a minute to hand over the room keys which had been sorted in advance. In a very nice neighbourhood, with loads of free on-street parking. I disagree with the poster who said the bus ride to town was grotty - I thought it was fabulous to go through such a vibrant and friendly neighbourhood (at 8pm). This is Spain! Get off the bus and have a walk around! Bus 4 gets you to town centre, so will the 10 but just to the south side - good if all you want is to go to the bars and eating places on Calle Ronda. Speaking of which highly recommend Naranja Burger on Eugenie - a street just off Ronda. Meals for about E4.50 and very child friendly. My only gripe about the hotel was that at end of July the pool was absolutely freezing - to the point that you couldn't really use it. A real shame as most kids aren't really into sunbathing.
Very easy to find - really. Just follow hotel instructions.
Thanks to all the posters who steered us in its direction.
We love Granada - our favourite city in Spain so far. Small and very friendly. Enjoy!
PS Didn't discover the in-room safe until we were leaving - it's in the wardrobe.

Well located if you're travelling by car and do not want to navigate the congested city center. Easy access to city center by nearby bus. Newish hotel with a grocery store nearby. Room was a bit new age in design, OK facilities, with a fair shower. Swimming pool was lovely. Good breakfast buffet. Reasonable air conditioning--not at cool as we would have liked it, but adequate.

Just wanted to leave a few thoughts about this marvellous hotel. It is located just outside Granada but it is a simple taxi ride to get to the Alhambra (about €7.00 each way). The hotel cost only £40.00 for a super double room decorated in a boutique modern style. I don't know if this is a regular offer but it is fantastic value. The carpark is underneath the hotel and it is not clear how one parks up before going to reception - I recommend you park in the carpark (entrance on the left of the hotel) and then take the lift up to reception.

We arrived very late at night and the coffee shop/bar food was still very good and freshly made. I would give the breakfast (costs extra) a miss as the choice was only average (we arrived late and the quality was low) with lousy coffee and poor service.

Sum Up: for the price I don't think this hotel can be beaten in the Granada area.
