I selected this hotel for a short break after reading some good reports on Trip Advisor. So my detailed review follows .... This hotel is still virtually brand new and is kept in excellent condition (as you will see from my photographs.) The hotel is approximately 3 miles from the Centre of Granada, but frankly Granada is so small when compared to Madrid, Barcelona etc. that it really doesn't matter. Public Buses in Granada are excellent and a bus into the city leaves the front of the hotel every 10 minutes. It's a five minute journey, costing about one Euro per trip. Taxi's generally five or six Euros into the City, and thirty Euros to (or from) the Airport. You can also get a bus from the Airport into the city which is fine and cost only three Euros, then jump on a number 33 bus and ask the Driver to put you off at Ctra de la Sierra 6 (which is the bus stop opposite the hotel). Despite what it may say on some of the reports on this site we found that ALL staff at this hotel were exceptionally helpful and very friendly throughout our stay. The Reception Staff were excellent English Speakers, and really we had no problems communicating whatsoever with any of the staff (maids, bar staff, pool staff etc.)The staff at the hotel could not have been more helpful on our last day - We checked out on time at 12 noon, but our flight was not until 9 pm in the evening. Our bags were safely stored away and we we're free to use all of the amenities at the hotel, including the pool and there are an abundance of general seating areas for relaxing, reading etc. Although this hotel has everything that a four star should have, plus multinational guests we also liked the fact that it is well used by Spanish people (particularly at the weekend.) So in summary an excellent hotel, high quality fixtures and fittings throughout, friendly staff and an excellent price, so what are you waiting for ?
