This is a lovely, smart and modern hotel. On arrival we got in early as the room was ready. The chap on reception was really helpful.

Rooms and bathrooms were lovely, very clean and modern with all the facilities you’d expect (including free toothbrushes). Mini bar in room but no tea/coffee making facilities.

Pay for your parking at reception when you leave (8 euros per day) as opposed to 1 euro per hour using the machine.

Don't recommend driving into Granada centre – it’s manic! You can pick up a bus outside the hotel and it’s just a few minutes to centre. Granada centre has a mixture of old and new buildings, lots of lovely shops and plenty of places to eat or just sit and watch the world go by.

We walked to the Alhambra from town centre and it just took about 15 to 20 mins (mostly uphill).

The hotel restaurant service was good but the food was just OK. The fish and veg I had were swimming in olive oil which got a bit much towards the end. The steak my OH had was rare, despite requesting medium - he had to return it but still came back the same. Was starting to realise why the restaurant wasn't busy and I'd say this is one area the hotel could improve on. Two courses for 2 people, with wine, came to around 65 euros. We decided to give brekkie a miss (although had heard good things about it from other guests).

Nice outdoor swimming pool and sunbeds on the first floor for guest use.

Hotel bar atmosphere was very relaxing with the option to buy snacks.

All staff at the hotel are really friendly. Big tip: Brush up on your Spanish basics, because most staff don’t speak or understand English.

Would definitely return (but would eat elsewhere!) and would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

I found this hotel here on TripAdvisor and could not have been happier. My husband and I were passing through Granada for one night, primarily to visit the Alhambra (incredible!). The location of this hotel was perfect for that purpose. The modern decor was beautiful and the staff was extremely professional and helpful. We came back from the Alhambra exhausted, took a swim in the lovely pool and finished off the night with a wonderful meal in the hotel restaurant. It was quiet and tranquil, just what we needed. We both wished we would have had more time to spend there. We paid about 70 euros. This turned out to be the best hotel we stayed in on our trip to Costa del Sol, Granada and Sevilla. A great deal! My husband does not deal with heat at all and, once it got going, the air conditioning kept the room plenty cool. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was lovely (included a hair dryer). If you were planning to see other sites in Granada, it might be a bit out of the way, but we would absolutely stay there again. The taxi to and from the bus/train stations was about 10 euros each way. Thanks to other reviewers for helping us find this gem.

Stayed for 2 nights at end Sept. Booked directly with hotel - €60 a night for a triple room. Hotel was fantastic especially when travelling with young children. Room was a good size even with the extra bed. Pool was handy, but by end Sept getting a bit chilly! Breakfast was €10 per adult, children free. All the usual selection. We had our own car , thedrive to the Alhambra was only 5 mins - perfect. Also took the bus into the city one evening, bus stop 30 secs outside hotel. €1 per adult, children free, it's a nice 10 mins trip. Overall haven't a bad word to say about the hotel, have stayed in much worse 5 star hotels.

We really enjoyed our stay here, staff at reception were very friendly and helpful, the rooms spacious and clean, air conditioning worked perfectly. We felt it was great value for the 60 Euro we paid for our double room. We did not eat there, so I cannot comment on the food.
You can park in the underground car park, but we decided to park outside the hotel for free. We were told by staff that they only had an incident once since they opened, where someone left a valuable item in a car and it was broken into, so we felt it was safe to leave it outside and not pay for hotel parking.
We also took the car to get around in the city, which is not for the faint hearted, as the car parking in town is conveniently located if you come from the hotel, but very narrow. So it might be better to take the bus or a taxi if you prefer not to deal with this, especially since it is about 2 Euro per hour for parking in town so that you probably won't even save money by driving youself as opposed to taking a taxi.
Overall this hotel is conveniently located if you're driving and want somewhere comfortable to stay, for someone using public transport I would however recommend something closer to town.

Very impressed with this hotel. It looks very new and all the bedrooms and communal spaces are beautifully decorated. A fantastic selection of toiletries were available in the room - including a toothbrush and toothpaste! Breakfast had everything you could possibly imagine, but remember, it's not usually included in the room rate. The staff were friendly and helpful - when we asked for a map at reception, the receptionist told us all the best places to go, including restaurants and Tapas bars.

If I had to say something negative, it would just be that it's a little out of town if you don't have transport. However, its very easy to find (just on the ring road) and very easy to drive in to town.

I'd highly recommend this hotel and I've stayed in worse hotels that were 5 star.

  • Liked — Fabulous room and scrupulously clean
  • Disliked — Not really a negative as we deliberatly chose a hotel near the Alhambra, but not walking distance into town.
