We picked this hotel as we were driving into Granada and knowing what a nightmare the roads are within Granada wanted a hotel that was very near the Alhambra and good parking.

The hotel cost us 80 euros with a further 8 euros for parking for 24 hours. It was great, very easy to find from Granada airport as it was on the ring road and well signposted for the Alhambra.

We only stayed for 1 nights. Didnt try the food as we got a taxi into Granada city which cost 6 euros. On the morning of the Alhambra visit we waited for the bus outside which failed to arrive even after 1/2 hour. So i would recommend you get a taxi. They take you straight to the ticket office. We did book our tickets online before so we knew exactly what time our visit to the Nasrid Palace was going to be. The ticket queue if you hadnt booked online was very long!

Overall we were really pleased with this hotel and i can thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

This was one of the better values that we'd come across in Europe. We were sceptical based on the price (60 euros), but it was a fantastic accomodation.

If you are looking to stay in central Grenada this is not your place, but that was our only complaint.

The staff was very helpful. Parking was only 8 euros and was easy to find off the highway. You can be in the Alhambra parking lot in about 2 minutes. The bar on the 1st floor was nice with reasonable prices for drinks. There is also a nice lounge between the bar and pool great for getting some work done if need be.

The breakfast was good and fair priced (except the coffee wasn't too good). We actually had dinner at the restaurant and were shocked by how good the cuisine was. You can find better dinner values within town, but if you want the ease of eating at the hotel after a long travel day it was pretty good here.

We'd stay here again upon return to Grenada.

We stayed at hotel Real de Alhambra for 3 nights and it was really perfect stay! We were prepaired for an ordinary 4 star hotel, european style: small rooms, tiny bathroom, some little TV set etc.
But were literally amazed by what we saw.
The hotel is just huuuge, modern building, posh design, soft carpeting, no hustle and bustle around the elevators or during breakfast time in the buffet. The staff was extremely friendly, the girl at the front desk was extremely helpful. Our room was spacious and literally sterile, nice bathroom with a snow white clean tub, flat screen TV, mountain view, plenty of space for our lagguage and free wireless Internet, to make a long story short - just perfect when you didn't expect it.
The fact the hotel stands a bit far from the city center can be easily fixed by cheap cab prices or a bus (which we never had a chance to take, but we noticed it was really frequent). We walked a couple of times from the hotel to the city center, it's a 15 min walk, not that bad. It's just a 10 min ride from the train station and a 5 min cab drive to Alhambra.
We really loved it and hope to come back some times.

This hotel is very modern, clean and comfortable. it is ideal if travelling by car, you just follow the ring road south towards the Alhambra (Ronda Sur) and when the road runs out on a mini roundabout, its there. Parking is well priced at just 8 euros a night.

Its a bit of a walk from the town centre, you probably could do it but it would be quite a hike, However there is a bus stop just outside the hotel which is only 1euro to anywhere in town which is great value. Buses are frequent (even on a sunday) and clean and tidy.

There is a bar nextdoor which is handy and has a very posh restaurant upstairs, which was however full when we were there, it might pay to book in advance if you wanted to use it. but the hotel restaurant had space on any given evening. There aren't many other restaurants and bars in the vicinity (we didn't see any but we didn't explore that much either) but loads in town so a taxi ride or night bus would be quite easy.

Overall, large, comfortable rooms. We got a great rate of £58 a night per double room from last minute. Great if you have a car and only about 5 mins from the town centre on the bus.
