The hotel is located 2km outside of Granada centre on a main road called Ronda Sur. Easy to find and no problem with noise due to D/G and A/C.
This is a proper 4 star hotel, on par with our Crowne Plazas and the like.
Although it is situated outside of the city centre (30 min. walk and no great sights) buses are frequent and taxis are cheap enough.
Taxis to Puerta Real (centre) cost 5E and 4E to the Alhambra.
After 5 days touring Andalucia and staying in more traditional Spanish properties, we were happy to just dump the car (underground car park 8E per day) and enjoy the modern amenities.
Staff, especially front desk, were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and varied (8E). The restaurant food looked very promising if our small lunch was anything to go by. Our standard double room was spacious and well laid out.
For a couple of days in Granada, it was an ideal base. If you are on a longer stay and prefer more 'authentic', like most modern hotels it may be too 'sterile'.

Stayed two nights.

Out of the way, about 30 min from the center by bus (with traffic); a bit difficult to find at night the first time (stop no. 6 of C/de La Sierra I think, just after the bridge, on your lefhandise coming from the center).

Very well located to go to la Alhambra, IF the bus gets there.. If you drive, it is VERY close.

New, and therefore clean and fairly well kept still.

It seemed fairly busy with groups of tourists.

Restaurant pricey but good quality and service; very little choice in the menu and very small portions.

Price/quality is not bad, but if I could find something at the same price, I would take the risk to stay closer to the Cathedral next time.

Granada is beautiful.

This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in - and I've stayed in a few.
The room was large, comfortable and looked great! The beds were extremely comfy, it was very clean.
We paid extra for breakfast but it was very good value and there was a lot of choice.
The front of house staff made the stay as the guy spent a lot of time explaining things to us and meant we got the most out of a short stay to the city.
We drove and found it very easy to find and parked out car in their underground car park - there was a charge for this but it was cheap. We used the bus to get in and out of the hotel, it ran from practically outside the hotel and was only a Euro each way and was regular and very fast. It actually ran quite late, we got it back at nearly 11 o clock.
We drove to the Alhambra from the hotel on our last day and was very close by car. However without a car you would have to get a bus into town and then transfer to the Alhamra Bus to take you up the hill, unless you feel like a walk! Although i did see a lot of people walking up the hill from the direction of the hotel to the Alhambra so could be done!
I thought it was great value and would recommend to anyone

We stayed here for one night only, primarily to visit the Alhambra the next morning before travelling to Orgiva for a week's vacation. The hotel was very easy to find off the highway - we were so surprised and it was excellent to be able to 'abandon' the car in the underground car park and walk/use public transit everywhere. We'd heard about trying to drive around the city, and once we witnessed the gridlock, it was nice to know we'd made the right decision and left the car at the hotel.

The hotel had a great pool, so after a long drive from Malaga, it was a welcome way to relax in the heat and sun. It was very clean even though it was an outdoor pool.

The breakfast buffet was excellent, everything you would want - cereals, fruit, cooked items, cheeses. Lovely and really, really nice strong coffee. We didn't have dinner at the hotel but chose to eat in Granada itself, then walk it off up the hill. We found the walk lovely, if a bit long (30 mins up hill) and didn't have any issues with the area.

We had a great room typical of some of the TripAdvisor 'Candid Shots' - good enough and lovely to get some nice toiletries - thought of everything including toohbrush/paste! Free WiFi in the room was also a big plus.

Getting to the Alhambra the next morning couldn't have been easier - a number 33 bus takes you up the hill, straight to the entrance for 1 Euro per person. Well worth a visit if you have the opportunity.

We would definitely stay here again, clean, fresh, new and well-eqipped. A bargain for the £40 we paid for the night.
