My husband and I stayed at this lovely little hotel on the 2nd leg of our honeymoon. We took a train from Seville, then a taxi from the train station. The taxi driver (who was a miserable little man) decided to drop us all the way at the other end of the block and told us to walk down the road to the hotel.. its located on a great (foot-traffic only) street full of Tapas Bars and restaurants. It was a little unnerving having to roll our suitcases down the cobblestone street while people are eating and drinking only to find out that the taxi could have dropped us on the other corner at which the hotel is actually located on!

When we finally made it to the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised! It’s quite serene and calming! There is a beautiful courtyard after the front desk & the room was a bit small but very clean and decorated nicely. Our window looked out right over the street with the restaurants. It was a little noisy at night but it was nice to hear people enjoying themselves! The bathroom was exceptionally nice! And the AC worked great in the 100 degree heat! There is also a little breakfast room downstairs that served a nice meal in the morning.

The hotel is located in a great location - you can set off by foot in any direction and have plenty to see and do! The staff was kind enough to book us an excellent tour of the Alhambra which conveniently picked us up right outside the hotel. It was a great day trip and so nice that they were able to find such a great tour group.

I would defiantly recommend this wonderful little boutique hotel for anyone who plans on visiting Granada!

This small, calm hotel is handily situated on one of Granada's most popular tapas bar/ restaurant streets. In contrast to all the buzz and activity going on outside, the hotel is a cool oasis of calm. Furnished comfortably in soft, neutral colours, with rooms looking into the traditional Andalucian interior courtyard, the hotel manages to be pleasantly international yet absolutely Spanish at the same time. Rooms are not huge but perfectly adequate in size, and the large iron beds are comfortably accentuated with good quality linen and a heap of extra pillows. Breakfast was fine, with a good selection of fruit, pastries and cooked items. The receptionist staff were efficient rather than particularly warm, though; a little extra staff training might not go amiss.

Granada is not the most fun to navigate around by car and the hotel does not have its own car park, however we found easy parking in the secure underground car park around the corner ( you must remember to give the hotel your car's details, however, so that you don't get stung for the city's Congestion Charge).

And don't expect a view from your room - you will be overlooking the street below, or if your room is at the rear, a patch of waste ground. In consideration of all the hotel's advantages, however, this is a minor detail. We'd definitely stay here again.

We found Palacio de los Navas through Michael and Laura, the terrific guys at anamazinghotel. It's in an excellent central location, the staff are very helpful and friendly and we had a lovely large room with windows on two sides. Despite overlooking the street it was not noisy. Thoroughly recommended.

My family and I arrived at Hotel Palacio de Los Navas after a long drive, and were delighted with what we found. The staff was lovely, the hotel was very clean and the decor was lovely. Minimalist and bright, it smelled wonderful throughout. Our room was perfect - nice and bright, spacious bathroom with a fabulous shower. The beds were comfortable and we were very happy with our situation.

The street on which the hotel is located is full of wonderful cafes. The main shopping street is a 5 minute walk from the hotel - it's situation was perfect. Yes, there was a little noise from the street in the evenings, but if you're staying in the middle of Granada, it would be difficult to avoid.

We visited La Alhambra one morning - were told that if we didn't have advanced tickets we should get up and be in line by 6AM, which we did. we were one of the first 100 in line and got tickets no problem. Its quite a far walk, so I'd advise getting a taxi (we called the front desk that morning as we were about to walk downstairs, and the taxi was waiting for us without a problem when we walked outside) - it only cost about 4 Euro, so we didn't mind.

Granada is simply wonderful, and this hotel made our stay even more enjoyable.

  • Liked — Clean and comfortable, friendly staff, oh - and free internet access in every room.
  • Disliked — The street below can be a little noisy at night, but not enough to deter me from staying here again.

Reserved a deluxe room, queen bed, view of city, air conditioning. Was given a small room, loud air conditioner in wall, view of brick wall across the alley, 2 small beds pushed together. Complained, was changed to another room, much larger with central air and view of a family's living room across the same alley. Decided to keep this room. Then air conditioner failed. It failed periodically over next 3 days. Maintenance man had to go to roof to move vent cover. Did not change room bacause I was afraid next room would be worse. Eventually, all I had to do was go to desk, nod my head, and maintenance would be dispatched.
Everything else was fine. Room was beautiful, hotel staff was wonderful and very helpful. (I actually felt sorry for them!). Breakfast included, and was fine.
