This hotel is great, the nicest one we stayed in during our 2 weeks in Spain/Portugal/Morocco. The staff - young woman (days) and young man (nights) - were charming, spoke English well and knew the area. The rooms were squeaky clean and beautifull. We paid 55 Euros/night in the off season. There is a nice corner cafe just around the corner (the OJ is the best I have ever had). It is a 20-30 minute walk to the Plaza Nueve and Tourismo. La Alhambra is amazing, but there is a lot more to Granada than La Alhambra. In a nutshell, if you are in Europe, Granada is a top destination and Hotel Abadia is the place to stay.

Nice hotel around a central patio. Clean rooms, size is ok for the price. Hotel is located on a narrow side street that gets very noisy at night, thanks to gangs of teenagers hanging around, dogs barking all night and poor noise insulation of the hotel windows. We had to be moved to another room opening on the patio to be able to sleep. Even there is noisy, due to the very thin walls and poor soundproofing.

Very friendly and helpfull staff, basic but clean room, good temperture, lots of hot water. Mini fridge, kettle, cups and glasses. Take you own tea, cofee and milk. Not a problem no breakfast served. Easy walk to bus stop for tourist bus, plenty of restaurants within easy walk but do need to be hunted out. Parking could be a problem, but unlike lots of other reviews we found hotel first time, think they have put up more signs. Ideal place to stay for a couple of nights to see Granada. Book Alhambra on internet before you go to save time.

The hotel has a gorgeous courtyard which many of the rooms open out on to. Ask for one of these! Our room was a good size and very clean, but faced the street. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a small laneway that isn't that nice but the hotel itself is great. It's about a ten minute walk to the cathedral.
