My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in May in a Junior Suite in the main palace. The room was quite spacious and it faced the courtyard. The decor is quite modern.I took the advice of some prior writers and thought it would be quiet. The courtyard actually opens up into the main street and our first night was a saturday night. People were out screaming until 7 AM! We figured the next night would be better (sunday night). The night was quiet but bus/moped traffice started around 6 AM. Needless to say, we did not get much rest here. Otherwise, the hotel was fantastic- the staff, amenities, location, etc. If you are a light sleeper, it may be a problem since you are in the center of the city. You could try to ask for their quietest room- I don't think facing the courtyard is the answer. We also arrived by car and had a heck of a time figuring out where to leave the car so the staff could park it for us- turns out we were supposed to park it illegally on the sidewalk and run inside. It's not a big hotel so no one is standing at the door waiting for guests. In fact, we drove buy at least twice not knowing that was the hotel.
We never used the restaurant. There were at least 3 places down the street where you could have coffee with bread/ham/cheese/juice.

we stayed at hotel only for 1 night as we had to move closer to town with family. so we didn't have time to use facilities; but STAFF IS NICE, they let us run to the spa bath really quickly (even take photos); room is beautiful but i am always annoyed witth bathroom sinks that never have enough space to put my own bathroom stuffs. breakfast is good value.

Looks beautiful, the staff were great, and the room magnificent. Don't miss a meal in the restaurant - it would be easy to dismiss it, as everything else is so wow, but the food was amongst the best of our holiday. Even though it's in the new bit of Granada, and a bit of a walk to the sights, it felt as if every penny of our stay here was worth it.

this hotel was very fancy and very comforable. we got a really good deal on it because we went during the off season. it was very nice but a bit too fancy. one night we went to the hotel restaurant and they had a water menu...yes, a menu only for the water. that was a bit too much for us. it was between $5 and $15 for just the water, not the kind of place with a $30 soup or salad. we ended up going to a place that we could afford. the only problem with the place was that their was a weird smell and we think it was a problem with the plumbing because the toilets didn't flush very well.

We had a gorgeous room in the more modern wing of the hotel. It had a very elegant bathroom and spacious (by European hotel standards) living area with a couch and small desk. The service at the hotel was friendly and exceptionally helpful in every case. We did not eat at the restaurant but the ambiance was nice and there seemed to be a reasonable local crowd for a hotel restaurant.
I can imagine some rooms would get a fair amount of street noise but this wasn't an issue for us. The location was very good for exploring the city but it is not close to the Alhambra. This wasn't really a problem though as we were able to walk and take a bus when we chose to go up on the hill. The price was not as steep as Trip Advisor suggests so check it out before ruling it out as too expensive. My only knock against the hotel is that the wi-fi never worked while we were there and despite promises to contrary it was not fixed. Otherwise it was a great stay.
