Rated above average only for those who can sacrifice comfort for some exquisite feeling of local romance and medieval atmosphere. Everything is a bit too narrow, but otherwise clean, friendly and nice. The decorations of the rooms and the hotel itself are marvellous.

Otherwise, walking distance to the centre- 15 min, you can walk actually to Alhambra too - 15 min. - of course the location is not the best. Though, the hotel is located on a small local square, where in the evening they open several openair restorans and bars.

I would not imagine staying at this place for a long time, since you will feel too squeezed.. Though for us it was not disturbing at all, rather exotic and funny.

In general - very cosy place to stay, we liked it a lot!

Yes, the bathroom is small and the amenities were minimal, but this was outweighed by the hotel staff who were very very friendly to us and took the time to ensure that all our questions were answered. Although the plates and bowls bolted on the walls/ceilings seemed a bit tacky, they had a certain charm about them.

The hotel is also located in a very convenient part of town - close to the Alhambra and to the centre of the city; however, it is not in the heart of the tourist area. This gave the added benefit of quiet evenings without noisy and drunk visitors.

Overall we had a great time there.

Though this hotel was very nicely decorated (ceramic stars everywhere),
bathroom was much too small. When I arrived, my room hadn't been
cleaned yet. Location was not the best, as I wasn't near any main squares or
the bus to the Alhambra.
