This is a beautiful little hotel. A lovely Patio, internet lounge, sufficient rooms and great location. Everything about the hotel was lovely except the stentch in the room. It smelled like the room was full of perfume intended to cover up cigerette smoke. We kept the windows open all day to try and air it out, but when we turned on the heater at night, the air coming out of it was perfumed. We had to request extra blankets because we had to keep the windows open all night just to breath (it was below freezing outside)--it didn't work, we were up most of the night choking on the thick perfume of the room. We were exhausted the rest of the trip because of the trauma of that one, long night. The staff was apologetic but had no idea how to handle the situation. We're used to extreme conditions as we travel extensively to remote areas, sleeping in old youth hostels or even on straw matts in remote villages. I would have preferred a straw hut to the air in that room. It's a shame because everything else about our experience there was lovely. Perhaps it was a particular situation with our specific room, but until the hotel can figure out how to air the rooms out and leave the rooms unscented, I would not recommend.
