I booked two double rooms and to be honest was a little bit concerned after reading some of the other comments but I was pleasantly surprised. Our rooms were spacious, very clean and in addition to the double beds we had two armchairs, coffee table etc. There was nothing wrong with this hotel in regards to our stay. No smell, the staff were friendly and although there were road works on the main road we could not hear them in our room. The hotel is a wee bit of a walk from the Alhambra but you can get the bus just down the road for a couple of euros and it takes you right to the ticket gate. I would be happy to recommend this hotel to others.

My husband and I stayed at the Vincci Granada for 2 days / 1 night as a side trip from Sevilla. The location is convenient to the train station, as it's a 5-10 minute walk (depending on your pace). However, the walk from the hotel to the historic district (cathedral, Plaza Bueva, Alhambra) is a bit longer (at least 15-20 min) but doable if you are a good walker. Otherwise, grab a cab.

We were surprised that this hotel has a lobby at ground level, but the rooms are above an adjoining apartment building. Despite being non-smoking, our room smelled of cigarettes. The bathroom was quite nice, and done partially in marble. The shower was comfortable. The bed was comfortable and clean, but the room was more functional than anything else. Our room had a rollaway 3rd bed set up, although we did not request or need it.

Because all of the rooms are on high floors, they all have nice views of the city. Several photos of the views are attached.

The room had a safe, but strangely, we had to pay extra money to rent a key (yes, a physical key) from the front desk to lock the safe.

The hotel staff spoke varying degrees of English, but were helpful in arranging a tour of the Alhambra and holding our luggage the next day. A wedding was being celebrated on the night that we stayed at the hotel, so the lobby was quite crowded.

It is a good deal for the price paid and the quality of the room. We paid about 60 Euros.
The odor was foul on the 14th floor. It was better on the 12th. We had to change rooms as the room on the 14th was a smoker's room.
The view from the room was great but then again the view of the Siera Nevada is not much to talk about in a 34 C month of May.
The rooms are average, typical of what I expect in Europe for a 3* hotel. Functional is the word.
Parking is available next door for 14 Euros every 24 hours so that you can self park. It is underground.
There is a lot of road work going on right by the hotel: no noise in the room but not the cutest show outdoors.
Overall, I would not stay again: the comfort of the bed and pillows were on par with an Ibis location for 45 Euros, outside the city with free convenient parking.
It is definitely not for the romantic couple.

If you are taken in by the 4-star rating, you will be TERRIBLY disappointed! At best, our room was 2* and the bathroom was 3*. There was nothing 4* about this place. Our tiny room didn't smell, but there were water-mark stains from the shower on the otherside of the wall. (We had booked a queen-size bed and got 2 very small singles.)
How anyone could have based their holiday here is beyond me! This is good value only if you are used to staying in very cheap hotels. It is not centrally located and not at all convientent for the Alhambra. If, however, you just want a clean bed to sleep in and don't plan to spend any time in the room, then it is good value at something like 45E/night. There was one comfortable chair in the room that didn't have any light, no good lights for reading in bed and the balcony didn't have any chairs or a table.
