The location of the Nazari is great: up a little side street a couple of mins from the Plaza Nueva (from where you get the bus to the Alhambra). It's also well placed for an evening walk round the Albacin, where there are great viewpoints over the Alhambra, which looks even more spectacular by night, and some nice restaurants.
The hotel itself was clean, the rooms small but really nicely furnished and the communal areas just gorgeous - really peaceful and a cool refuge in the hot afternoons.
Two weaknesses: the breakfast probably isn't worth 8 euros a head; it's pretty uninspiring, so better to go to one of the many cafes on the Reyes Catolicos, the main street just off the Plaza Nueva. There's a great croissant shop there.
Also, from our room the street noise in the early hours of the morning was pretty annoying - surprising, also, for such a small side street. And we were awoken at about 7am by what sounded like hundreds of sparrows outside our window. Nice if you haven't been kept awake so late!
I'd stay here again, despite the minor glitches, as it's such good value and so pretty, but maybe ask for a room not facing the street.
