I concur with what the person from CT said below: " It's just what I love -- a small establishment that is right in the best site and reflects that site well." the guide book noted that this was the cheapest of the boutique hotels in this area but it shouldn't discourage travellers from a wonderful experience. again I concur. the room is small but the heating was very welcome. free internet (with your own computer) is a plus. the staff is very nice but their english isn't the best, however, I didn't need to ask them too much. very centrally located. easy to walk everywhere in the city you'd think of going. I will agree with that it's probably not for older travellers as there's no elevator. I would however say that if walking and climbing is a concern, you might want to bypass granada as the whole place is up and down and often very steep and you definitely don't want to use a car either. it's a very youth oriented city so I could imagine it not being the friendliest to older travellers. I would recommend staying up near the alhambra for them.
