Before arriving, I thought this hotel looked absolutely charming on the website, and I wasn't disappointed - it looked just as good in real life. The staff were helpful and happily spoke English when my Spanish failed. I particularly liked the location of the hotel - really good for accessing the Alhambra, and just off Plaza Nueva - it's best to go just off the Plaza for better bars and restaurants. (The Central Cafe just off the Plaza was great for breakfasting every morning.) The only negative point would be that my partner found the noise insulation in the room inadequate. Perhaps if you're a light sleeper this could be a problem, but personally I had no complaints.
