I booked this hotel for only 100 euros for 2 nights and therefore did not have a great expectation. However, when I arrived and checked into my room I was surprised at the standard of the room especially given the rate we were paying.
The room was quite large and modern. The bathroom was huge and tasteful. Don't expect a boutique style feel to the room but it was definately clean and modern and I would say up to the standard of a 4 star hotel.
However, what made this hotel for me was the stunning roof area. You overlook the mountains of the Granada area and the view is amazing. Also, the roof top has a good sized pool and a jacuzzi with a sunbathing area.
The roof area also has a bar and restaurant which opens in the evening.
You can have a drink until around 1.00ish. We ate on the roof top on our first evening with no real expectations but the food turned out to be surprising good.
The hotel is situated about a 15 min to 20 min walk to Granada citycentre, but the hotel does have a map so it was pretty easy to find our way around. I would say the hotel is more geared up to be a business hotel than a tourist hotel but don't let this put you off as I thought this hotel was great value at a high standard.
Staff were friendly and the receptionist spoke good english and was very helpful. Parking is provided underground at the hotel but expect to pay about 12 euros a day.
If you're visiting Granada to go to the Alhambra - it was totally stunning! One tip book your tickets online before you go and collect on the day. The Alhambra is quite large so give yourself plenty of time to find the ticket office and get there at your chosen time as the visits are controlled by numbers being restricted each hour.
Also try to visit the mountains by car! Expect winding roads and sheer drops but the view is stunning and worth it.
I really enjoyed Granada and would recommend this hotel for your stay.
