I booked this hotel for only 100 euros for 2 nights and therefore did not have a great expectation. However, when I arrived and checked into my room I was surprised at the standard of the room especially given the rate we were paying.

The room was quite large and modern. The bathroom was huge and tasteful. Don't expect a boutique style feel to the room but it was definately clean and modern and I would say up to the standard of a 4 star hotel.

However, what made this hotel for me was the stunning roof area. You overlook the mountains of the Granada area and the view is amazing. Also, the roof top has a good sized pool and a jacuzzi with a sunbathing area.

The roof area also has a bar and restaurant which opens in the evening.
You can have a drink until around 1.00ish. We ate on the roof top on our first evening with no real expectations but the food turned out to be surprising good.

The hotel is situated about a 15 min to 20 min walk to Granada citycentre, but the hotel does have a map so it was pretty easy to find our way around. I would say the hotel is more geared up to be a business hotel than a tourist hotel but don't let this put you off as I thought this hotel was great value at a high standard.

Staff were friendly and the receptionist spoke good english and was very helpful. Parking is provided underground at the hotel but expect to pay about 12 euros a day.

If you're visiting Granada to go to the Alhambra - it was totally stunning! One tip book your tickets online before you go and collect on the day. The Alhambra is quite large so give yourself plenty of time to find the ticket office and get there at your chosen time as the visits are controlled by numbers being restricted each hour.

Also try to visit the mountains by car! Expect winding roads and sheer drops but the view is stunning and worth it.

I really enjoyed Granada and would recommend this hotel for your stay.

This is a beautiful, ultra-modern hotel with large comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Unfortunately, the location of the hotel is outside of the city center, in an area without any of the charm of Granada. The walk to the touristic areas took us about 15-20 minutes in the morning. We ended up taking the bus back because we were told by the tourist information bureau that it would not be very safe to walk back at night. Also, the front desk staff were not very helpful or polite, making our stay less than ideal. We would definitely recommend staying in the Cathedral area. It is the most centrally located. The Alhambra and Albaycin areas are also very nice, but the buses stop running at 11:30 p.m., and both locations require a steep climb, which would be difficult after dark.

Andalucia Center Hotel is within short walking distance of the main city square, the cathedral and the river. Make sure to get directions before you check in though.

The rooms were all brand new and completely dialed in with surround sound, king beds and lavish bathrooms with sunken tubs and frosted windows.

The rooftop deck had a great view of the city although the lap pool wasn't finished when I was there.

Parking is expensive but you can park on the street if you are diligent.

I wouldn't eat in the restaurant though (although they have pastries for happy hour in the small bar)

Granada has awesome tapas in the main square which is what I would recommend.
