“You get what you pay for, most reasonable in my opinion!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

This hotel is for people who a) are driving a car and need an easy/free place to park b) are not afraid to take public transportation to see the sights c) don't expect much more than a hot shower and clean/warm bed at night and d) enjoy free internet. Luckily, I fit all four categories and was more than happy with what the hotel offered. No frills here, but then, if you are expecting a hotel that will offer more than a budget hotel, don't stay here! The rooms are clean, and suitable for a couple and one child, or two travellers (a queen bed with a single bunk above). The internet was free for one day, but when we asked, we were told that we could have another voucher for free for our second night. We didn't opt for the paid parking (they give you a more 'secure' parking place underground if you wish to pay), and had no problems parking for free in the open hotel parking lot. We didn't have the breakfast -- a coffee and jamon bread is so much better! One thing to note: getting into Granada is about a 10 minute walk and 15 minute bus ride. It is incredibly easy to do, cheap, and well worth the easy/no-hassle parking place on the outer edge of the city.

A depressing bunker style hotel with tiny windows and barrack style corridors...Horrible small reception and the budget price of 36 Euros is not really a budget fee..However,l did manage to park for free..The receptionist spoke good English (Dec2012) and was helpful..The place was carpeted so no echoing noise all through the building..The beds had a duvet rather than the 1950s style sheets with a blanket, beloved of Spanish hotels..The doors had slow self closing levers. This means no giant banging and booming noise of doors constantly being open and closed as the doors self close gently...No noise, meant l slept well for the first time in 2 months travelling through Spain..It is strictly a one night stay though because of the bunker style of the building

Room Tip: All the rooms are identical with poor views..It is a sleep orientated hotel,so no views no balconies...

We spent (unfortunately) only one night in Granada. Room was clean and well furnished. Helpful staff. Well managed hotel. Though the hotel is located on the suburb area of Granada there is a good bus service to the downtown. Bus stop is appr. 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Will return...

We paid less than £30 for a decent sized immaculatly clean room. Add to that helpfull staff and our only possible gripe would be lack of drink making facilities in the room but this was in common with every other place we stayed in Spain. Regarding location there is a very efficient bus service into city centre 10 min walk from hotel,

Ibis Granada has it all for a decent price. Indoor parking (optional, 7,50 euro). Dogs allowed. Small but very efficient, modern rooms with great bed, decent size bathroom, tumble window, modern light fixtures, clean 'wooden' floor. Plus (free) Wifi in the room. Downstairs there's a small corner for kids, a PC and a small breakfast area. I was there in the weekend and the hotel was packed with young people. This brought a 'buzz' to the hotel, quite fun. Its location is not in the center but...there is a restaurant across the street, also full of young folks. I like the modern concept. Only (minor) comment: too many flyers in the room.

We chose this hotel due to price/quality ratio, availability of triple room and proximity to motorway, as we have been family of 3 traveled with car. You can easy access hotel if traveling from Sevilla / Malaga taking exit 131 from motorway, passing roundabout and turning right, then stright to next roundabout and returning almost to first one - then take sharp right turn just before petrol station.
As we been not so lucky, didn't find free parking space on street in front of hotel, so took hotel underground parking.
Positive: small, but functional and clean rooms, reasonable breakfast at 7.50 EUR / per adult, convinient access if you traveling by car, free wi-fi, ENG speaking reception.
Negative: not specifically noticed, maybe breakfast area is a bit too small, if more people just come in one time. I also noticed location of hotel is not always correctly placed on some web search tools and maps ( like google ).
Taxi to Granada center is 8-9 EUR.
