I have been following Trip Advisor Reviews to book all my rooms in Spain and also my trip to Amalfi Coast last October. So far, the reviews by fellow travelers have been accurate and trust worthy.

The Hotel Granada Hesperia was one of the nicest hotels I had the pleasure of staying in. The sheets were soft and had a terrific scent that was amazing. The bathroom was spacious and had ample counter space and even a window.

The rooms were large, immaculate, and the air conditioning worked amazingly well. The staff was helpful and very accomodating. The hotel location was perfect. The horel lobby was very lovely and reminded me of a Spanish courtyard.

This hotel is great. It is hard to find with a car however.

A pretty hotel tucked down a quite calle. Our two nights at the Hesperia were very comfortable and peaceful. The hotel provided a cable for our laptop for free internet in our room. It was a comfortable elegant room with a courtyard view. Lovely toiletries. Staff was very helpful with Alhambra and bus information. Convienent to local sites, all within walking distance.

Lovely hotel tucked away in a side street but close to all main attractions. We arrived by taxi and were glad as driving around the city was very busy and the hotel would not be easy to find although it does have parking.
Reception staff very pleasant and professional even when we had cause to complain. We were given a non-smoking room and the smell of smoke was overpowering. We opened the window and hoped it would improve - it didnt. It was also very warm in the room which had windows which only opened onto the internal covered area. When we checked with reception about air-conditioning we were told there was none, only heating. I cannot believe a four star hotel does not have air-con. It would be unbearable in summer. We then queried whether our room was non-smoking because of the smell and an ashtray and matches at the side of the bed. We were assured it was but that they had no control over what guests did in the room. I do feel by putting an ashtray and matches in the room the hotel is encouraging guests to smoke. We were shown 2 other rooms and chose one with outside windows and fresh smelling. Throughout this the staff attitude was pleasant and courteous.
Breakfast was excellent and staff very obliging with info, ringing for taxis etc.

Other reviewers have found hotel noisy - out of season, we found the reverse - very quiet. But we could see how it could be noisy - marble floors, opens onto a small square.

Room was well-equipped if a little plain. Staff were good.
Buffet Breakfast was fine if a little expensive - as so often, orange juice was tasteless!

Granada has not got a lot to receommend it once you have seen the Alhambra - we stayed 5 nights and it was too long.
