After reading many reviews of hotels in Granaga on Trip Advisor, we settled on this one - and what an excellent choice. Very central, handy for all attractions, but quiet and very comfortable. Staff were excellent, though getting a second cup of coffee at breakfast (no leche - black) proved a bit of a challenge! Car parking is not for the timid - but then nor is driving in Spain - but was really handy, as public car parks are all some distance.
The rooms all seemed to be of a similar high standard (I peeked when the maid was not looking!) and were very comfortable. Room service was excellent (vital after a long day, arriving in the middle of the holy week processions!), though the hotel has no restaurant. OK touristy ones at Bibi Rambla, but there is an excellent one much nearer on the corner of Plaza del Carmen, 1 min from the door. Also try Alfrazan on the Paseo de los Tristes for stylish decor and excellent food, or any of the four in the tiny jewel of a square Plaza de S. Miguel Bajo at the top of the Albaycin. Restaurants in Campo del Principe were supposed to be good, but we thought were dissappointing.
I would definitely use this hotel again. If you choose it, I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!
