Stayed here in November 2005 for 2 weeks. The hotel was centrally located and within easy walking distance of everything. The purpose of our visit was to see the tourist attractions and also travel around Andalucia. We found it very easy to do both from this location because the bus station was a short bus ride away - when we were not travelling further out we did the rest on foot.

We visited the Bibi Rambla every morning for a good breakfast to start the day off and ate at different cafe bars or restaurants depending on where we were at the time.

In the evening this hotel was well located for many tapas bars and restaurants in the different areas of the tourist are of the city, although, we were never bothered by noise.

Would definately visit Granada again and would also stay at this hotel.

We stayed at the hesperia Granada for two nights.
The hotel is clean and it is a very nice building right in the center of the town.

Rooms are well kept and spacious.

Might be a be difficult to find the place since the center has been closed to private cars and the route to get to the hotel is challenging. However, this is a small price to pay for a great location only few minutes away from the bus stop to the Alhambra.

We only had breakfast there. The food was possibly average; considering the status of the hotel it could have been better.

Unlike the review below, we had no problems with the hotel. We arrived early and were found a room without any fuss.

The hotel is a genuine 4 star chain type hotel, but with just enough character in the location, building and fittings to be interesting.

We Stayed for a night in a double room, got different rate than what I booked on their site. They claimed we are two persons wherease the reservation is for one (Why I should book the double room?). Their online reservation didn't allow me to choose the number of persons. They did't believe it !!

Another problem: Locked me down in the grage early morning on our way to Alhambra. Called the receiption by the intercom and got the answer: "YOU HAVE T PAY FOR YOUR ROOM SIR"!!! I just passed by asking them for directions and carried no baggage with me. They have my credit card if I ran away!!!

I answered them that I will do so when I come back. Got the answer:" Sir, you have to be back before 12:00, or we will charge you half a day for late check out".

Anyway, this trip was short for preparation for my & my wife's family group trip in the coming summer (25 persons). Glad to know what kind of people are running this hotel..

Just watch out from rate changes...
Never leave the hotel in the morning of your departure, they will think you are running out!!

Pack up before 12:00, they claimed they cannot allow any delay because they are full, in November,!! (But you may stay for a half day charge!!)
