We decided to stay in this hotel for our one night stay in Granada mainly because of it's good reviews on Tripadvisor, its central location, and a good promotional rate on their website. The hotel is definitely centrally located, very close to the cathedral/royal chapel (< 5min walk) and Plaza Isabel La Catolica (again <5 min walk; where you can easily catch a bus to the Alhambra), as well as restaurants and shops (though a touristy area). The hotel itself was very nice with a comfortable fountain lounge area. The desk clerks were exceptionally helpful throughout our admittedly very short stay.
The rooms were extremely comfortable, clean, and well-decorated. Our bed had a gothic headboard (which we liked) and was extremely inviting and soft. We had no problem sleeping as the hotel was one of the quietest accommodations on our trip. The furniture/decor was very nice. The bathroom was also very clean with soft towels and bathrobes. The only negative was the view out of our room of an empty lot with feral cats and a back of an apartment building (which perhaps contributed to its quietness).
Admittedly we didn't stay here long enough to find all of its warts, but for the purposes of our visit the hotel was actually ideal. We left Granada wishing that we could have stayed at hotel Hesperia longer and taken in more of the sites.
