We absolutely can say enough wonderful things about this charming, comfortable hotel with a terrific, friendly front desk - very helpful. The location is terrific. We stayed for one night, rented a car the next day and drove to Cordoba and dropped the car off in Seville. The Room-Mate chain is the best chain I have stayed in based on comfort, price, outstanding staff, location, great breakfast. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely place, simply decorated but stunning (it's a restored villa). The rooms were very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. there is a nice courtyard in the middle of the hotel. The room i had was a good size. The breakfast is yummy (simply buffet) and on until 12pm which i think is great (it's nice to have the option of sleeping in when travelling). There is a computer in the main lounge where you can check your email for free. The hotel is in a good location, about a 15 min walk to the alhambra, right in the centre of town but on a little side street so it's not noisy at all. I was travelling alone and felt very safe staying there.

My only comlaint was that the directions on the website (to get to the hotel) from the airport bus where a bit vague (though the hotel IS easy to find once you know where you are going). i just asked someone so it was not a huge deal but i got in very late so had a few moments of stress while I tried to orient myself.

We spent two nights at the Hotel Migueletes on our recent trip to Granada. The hotel is a recently (2003?) completely reconstructed house built around a central courtyard. Rooms and bathrooms are all very new. A buffet breakfast is included and was tasty (including various meats, cheese, eggs, bread and pastry items, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and more). The downside was that the hotel has no garage. If you come with a car, you must park it in a downtown garage and take a taxi to the hotel. On the other hand, you don't need a car in Granada, so once the car is parked, you can forget about it. . . The hotel is an easy 5 minute walk to the bus that goes to the Alhambra; walking back down the hill from the Alhambra you end up about two blocks from the hotel.

The overall vibe of the hotel was very charming. Staff was extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations, directions and information about sights (though being a 3/4-star hotel don't expect 5-star service; they won't make bullfight reservations or mail your packages for you).

I think this would be a superior hotel if you could get a room with an external window. Though my husband and I requested one in advance, we got a room with a tiny window facing an internal wall of the hotel, which made the room kind of dark. Like most hotels in Spain, the beds were two double beds pushed together which, in combination with the tiled floor, made cuddling or certain other activities difficult, as they would slide apart. TV was tiny if you care. Overall very good though.

We would stay here again if we could reserve a room with more light. Pretty romantic, good service and in a great spot.

We stayed at this hotel for one night during our trip. The hotel was beautifully kept, clean, and service was excellent. Upon arrival the front desk person gave us all the insights to get an early entrance to the Alhambra, gave us recommendations in general and was very helpful in giving us enough information ahead of time to find the hotel. The hotel is walking distance from the Alhambra which was nice - you have to go up a long hill but is doable. The hotel breakfast was included and it had a good selection of fresh food - it was great start of the day. Also, access to a computer with free internet was available at all times. This was a major plus in our trip! Also, the rooms were very nice. We had 2 rooms for 4 adults. Both rooms were great... clean, rustic, etc. The view outside the window was aweful, but there was no need to open it. Overall we loved the hotel and the service was outstanding. We would certainly stay there again, recommend to others, and look into other 'roommate' hotels for future travel plans... now that we know is a group of hotels.
