We loved this little hotel! It was a little hard to find and the parking lots were full making our arrival difficult, but we were very pleased once we made our way. It's near most of the major sights and just down the block from the bus stop that takes you up the hill to the Alhambra. Just around the corner there's great views of it, especially at night. The room was quiet and very dark, overlooking the front door and alleyway. The security is excellent (you have to be buzzed in 24 hrs a day). The common areas include a patio, office/relaxation room, and a wine cellar (host to nightly complimentary happy hours). The breakfasts were good. I cannot say enough good things about the service - they went above and beyond to help us find our way, get tickets, and make restaurant reservations. Our favorite front desk attendant spoke 5+ languages perfectly! Out of all of the places we stayed in Spain, this was by far our favorite city and hotel, thanks to their people.

My wife and I visited the Room mate hotel Casa de Migulettes in Granada this June. The great service form this hotel started from the minute we enquired about it online. So friendly and informative. Advised us not to hire a car whilst in Granada, due to road access limitations, and that fact that your hired car would sit outsidethe town in a car park at cost. Great advice. Arrived early at the hotel by cab from the airport 28 euros and were given a tour of the beatiful casa de migulettes covering everything.
The ideal of the hotel is to make you feel as though you are staying as welcome guests at a friends home. We have now got some new friends with a great home!! The super rooms and the inner Courtyard provide a great place to take in the spanish ambience. The complimentory evening drinks from their own bodega and for those that arise early and want to see Granada before the rush, the hotel even caters for you, by extending breakfast from 0700hrs to 12noon !
Over the course of the day we met most of the staff on their 24hour reception and the attention to detail, the friendliness is always there.
The hotel confirmed our reservation at the Alhambra which MUST not be missed. A word of advice. take a good map of Granada as the ones the tourist office provide are ok if you carry a microscope.
Walk towards the Plaza Nueve up towards the cathedral then turn at the fountain, the 32 bus stop on your right takes you to the doors of the Alhambra for 1 euro.
The hotel has it's own restaurant guide - for once they are spot on.
Take a dinner at their No 5 - La Thomases. It's 10minutes slow walk from the hotel and is the most romantic setting you will find with great terraces overlooking the Alhambra. don't forget your camera for the evening photos.
Our next visit to Granada is planned for later in the year but this time we will be taking the coach service from Malaga (runs every hour) which is quicker 2 hrs and more direct than the train service, followed by an overnight stay before returning.

Room Mate also have a boutique style hotel in Malaga and Seville so whenever we get an opportunity, we will be trying these.
To close, we had a great memorable time in Granada, we saw one of the entries for the potential Seven Wonders of the World and we experienced a cracking hotel style which should be shared by all.

I booked a few days in Granada to celebrate my birthday and wanted to stay somewhere comfortable. This hotel ticked all of those boxes and more. Great room, number 26 which is in the tower and has a view of the Alhambra, it also feels very private.
Staff extremely kind and helpful, even giving me a bottle of something on the morning of my birthday.
Breakfasts very good, not just a bit of dry meat and cheese, but fruit, lovely bread etc.
They also booked our tickets for the Alhambra.
Would definately stay there again.

My husband and I recently went on a weekend trip to Granada. Room Mate Migueletes was a great hotel with lots of character. We stayed in Room 25 which had its own balcony with a view of Alhambra. The location is very central and it is easy to walk around the city. The Alhambra is a 20 minute walk and there are great restaurants nearby on the river.

Beautiful, spacious, quiet, romantic, convenient, quiet, welcoming,
did I say quiet?
It's conveniently located, right off Plaza Nueva, and it is a very
sensitive renovation of an old building. There are plants everywhere,
exposed wooden beams, it's all very airy and appealing. We stayed in
room 19, a junior suite with a very comfy large sofa. It has an
interior view, but really every guest can see the Alhambra because on
the third floor there is a large enclosed balcony (whose windows
open) that gives you a postcard view. Gorgeous when it's lit up at night.
The buffet breakfast is downstairs in what I suppose was a cellar,
again very attractively decorated. There is a large lounge with a
computer (and printer) offering free internet access.
Usually it was so quiet all you could hear was the water in the
fountain of the large interior courtyard.
The desk staff was very helpful. We pre-booked a tour of the Alhambra
through them and it worked out fine. (They also provided bandaids
when I cut my finger on some broken glass. )
We stayed in three hotels during our trip to Spain and this was far
and away my favorite. I would love to go back.
