Stayed one night (and would have stayed more had time permitted) at this lovely old inn in the old part of Granada.
Had booked two rooms (both en suite). Rooms were traditional ly decorated and charming. The beds were the most comfortable that any of us had ever slept in!!!
Air conditioning worked well (not too noisy) and the showers in the bathrooms were easy to use.
The hotel is family run (completely renovated by the owners - a real labour of love). Whilst there is no restaurant, in the hotel, the staff (who all speak English) are able to give suggestions for places to eat, provide a map and book your table for you.
The hotel offers a cold buffet breakfast (with lots of choice) for 9 euros (a good deal we thought).
The hotel also has its own bodega and we bought a lovely Rose Rioja for a pre-dinner drink and the price was less than charged in many restaurants - another good deal.
This was a charming place to stay and would highly recommend it for someone looking for a central location in Granada - the price may be a bit higher than other hotels but we felt it was well worth it.
You cannot park at the hotel but the directions for parking at the remote car park provided by the hotel were spot on and the cost of the taxi from the car park to the hotel will be deducted from your bill.
The only down side is there is a fair amount of building work going on in the area so it is a bit dusty. However, work did not start until 8.45 am, which seemed fair. Just don't stay here if you want a lie in after 9am!
We would defiintely stay here again.

i had booked Casa de los Migueletes as the final hotel of my honeymoon in Spain; Granada was my final destination and I thought it would be a nice treat. Unfortunately, we were disappointed, and the hotel really wasn't our cup of tea.

The room was nice; however the mattress was terrible: never have I stayed on such a terrible mattress in a hotel. Both my husband and I slept very poorly and woke up with sore backs. Aside from sagging in the middle, you could actually feel the springs sticking out, and when one of us rolled over the entire mattress bounced. When we mentioned to the staff that the mattress was very .... er... soft, they quipped back that we could read their guestbook, many compliment them on the beds.

The policy of keeping keys at the front desk is annoying, especially because the person we had the most frequent contact with wasn't particularly warm.

Also, they offered us a complimentary bottle of cava for our honeymoon, which was nice, but never actually gave to us, which seemed kind of awkward.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay and were very impressed with this hotel.
The location is excellent for The Alhambra a couple of minutes walk from where the mini buses take you up the hill, yet it is in a quiet side road just off the Plaza Neueva. We slept soundly every night.
The building itself is traditional, built around a cool courtyard and stunningly beautiful. It has been expertly restored by a Norweigan couple 3 years ago with every attention to detail. There are top quality linens, thick towels, quality cosmetics and a wonderful breakfast buffet. It is also spotlessly clean.
The staff could not be more helpful will book anything for you with no problem. They recommended a great tapas bar 5 minutes away which was full of locals and unbeleivable food.
Both of us have travelled extensively and are not easily impressed, it is good to find somewhere that delivers our expectations.
You definitely do need to book The Alhambra in advance in summer, if you want to see all of it. We met people who had come all the way there and could only get in on an organised tour as all the other tickets were sold.
We went for lunch at the much written about Paradore San Francisco in the grounds of the Alhambra. The views were excellent and I am told beutiful at dusk, but in our view far too expensive for the quality of the food and overrated. We would much rather stay at the Casa de los Miguleletes and eat at the fantastic local restaurants that the hotel reccomend.
I am just hoping having added this other great reveiws there will be a reservation available for us when we return! However credit where credit is due.

We were very happy with our stay at los Migueletes for six nights in May. This small hotel, which is in a traffic-free street in the old town, has been re-fashioned from an ancient building with great sensitivity and style. Rooms are off a central courtyard and ours, 25, was a small double with its own high-walled terrace with a close-up and wonderful view of the Alhambra, mystical by moonlight.

The multilingual reception staff made the stay for us. They were unfailingly warm, helpful and informative, going out of their way to answer our "strangers in town" endless questions and making bookings. When we decided, at short notice, to go to Cordoba for an overnight stay, coach trip and hotel were readily sorted out and booked for us .

If you like staying centrally, los Migueletes could be for you. It's within easy walking distance of Alhambra, the main squares full of restaurants and tapas bars, the Cathedral and shopping. For us this was ideal - we could wander back to the hotel for a siesta and needed no taxis or buses.

Talking of siestas, many buildings in the old city of Granada are being refurbished and one of them was next to los Migueletes, which meant some noise interruption by day from the builders next door. Not a problem at night, but earplugs useful for siesta-takers.

Good breakfasts, buffet style. A charming shady sitting room with squishy old sofas for reading, writing, internetting or just daydreaming. Think old-fashioned. Think comfortable.

We would return to this lovely little hotel without hesitation.

This Bijou hotel deserves its very high rating.

The staff are extremely helpful and able to give individual attention that you seldom find in larger establishments. Our stay was rather last minute and they were able to get us tickets for the Al Hambra.

The location is very convenient and makes almost everywhere in this historic but vibrant city accessible on foot.

Our accomodation was simple, practical and clean (the low cost room). Don't miss the free sherry from 8.00 pm - it's excellent.
