the receptionist was very nice and welcoming. Perfect location, we found easily following directions from the website. The courtyard is beautiful and the 1st impression of the room was good. good size (was a deluxe room number 15),very quiet (I had requested a quiet room), nicely furnished. The only critism I have is about the bathroom, very dark and dated. The paper was coming off the wall and mould was around the bath. I was looking forward to take a bath but I didn't at the end. It' s a shame as the room was lovely.

We stayed here for three nights and thought it was great. It is located beneath the Alhambra in the atmospheric Albaicin quarter. Everywhere is easily walkable; the Alhambra, Sacromonte, San Nicolas and all the great bars serving free tapas! The nearby Paseo de los Tristes is a lovely place by the river to drink sangria while the sun sets over the Alhambra.

The hotel itself is hidden behind a non-descript big wooden door but inside there is a nice central courtyard and the rooms are tastefully decorated in a Moorish style. The breakfast was adequate and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We found the whole experience excellent. The hotel personnel were uniformly friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was very comfortable. The morning breakfast was great. I highly recommend it for anyone staying in Granada. It's only a short walk up to The Alhambra from the hotel. It's in a great location in the city, also.

This is a beautifully located hotel situated down narrow streets in the Old City at the foot of the Ahlambra. It is very quiet but only 200 metres from a lively square full of eateries and only a few hundred metres further to the city proper.

You will be amazed when you pass through the bland wooden door in a bland stone wall and enter a beautiful paved courtyard decorated with shrubs and flowers. The building surrounds the courtyard and is a fully rennovated multi-storied structure that is several centuried old.

Individual rooms match the ambience: comfortable, tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. Also enjoyed the buffet breakfast served in the old below-ground bodega.

Free internet and super-friendly staff. If you stay there ask them about "Upsetter", the venue for genuine flamenco performances situated only a few 100 metres distant.

Absolutely perfect hotel - off the main plaza, in a back alley that provides great privacy. We took a cab from the train station, very reasonable price - note that cabs must stop adjacent to the plaza, but a very short walk with luggage to the hotel. Hotel is within walking distance of the Alhambra and Cathedral. The hotel is beautiful - old building, great character, in an excellent location. Breakfast was included and very good. Internet available in the lobby.

What makes the Hotel perfect is the staff - very friendly and helpful - we booked the Alhambra visit through the hotel, received restaurant recommendations, directions, etc.

We could not say enough good things about the Hotel - highly recommend it to anyone.

Hint - view the Alhambra at dusk from St. Nicholas Church along with everyone else.
