Very comfortable and quiet. In a restored courtyard building just steps from the Plaza Nueva where you can catch the Alhambra Bus or take the pedestrian walkway up to the Alhambra. The staff couldn't be nicer....from the moment you arrive they are friendly, proficient in English, responsive to all requests, unfailingly helpful. Free internet service. Nice lounge and breakfast room. Highly recommended.

  • Liked — Very friendly service.
  • Disliked — Rooms are a little dark....

From booking with trip advisor to check out this was the best european experience that we have had.
Instructions on how to find the hotel in the old part of town were excellent
The front desk staff were really helpful with excellent english, Jose and Nani are superb, nothing was too much trouble and restaurant recommendations very good.
The hotel pre booked tickets for the Alhambra palace which avoided a three hour line(april is not high season!)
Breakfast superb with an international set of newspapers.
View onto the courtyard from a standard room, you might like to think about an upgrade if the budget allows. Standard room facilities were excellent. Internet connections in the hotel very good.
Great value for money.
Many thanks, we will be back.

This hotel is in an excellent location in Granada and has been beautifully refurbished. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. A nice touch is that they serve breakfast until midday.

The service we received was excellent. I had arranged by email with them for a Taxi to meet us at Granada Airport on arrival and also for one to drive us to Malaga a few days later.

Our flight from Heathrow (BA) was delayed for hours so we missed our connecting flight in Madrid and finally arrived over four hours late. I had managed to call the hotel and they made sure the taxi met us from the later flight.

Our transfer to Malaga was in torrential rain and the driving conditions were dreadful so were pleased we had decided against hiring a car ourselves. All the staff were incredibly helpful in making these arrangements for us.

The hotel also provides a very useful restaurant guide and map. Our favourite was the Pilar del Toro just across the square.

Do make sure you book your Alhambra tickets in advance.

I chose this hotel after reading the reviews and we weren't disappointed. My husband and I stayed for three nights in the middle of April, after booking it back in January. the staff were really helpful and spoke good english. The room wasn't huge but ok, the bathroom was a good size with a good shower. The breakfast was a standard continental buffet type - plentiful and varied. Our taxi driver from the airport dropped us off as close to the hotel as he possibly could. All in all we had a very positive experience and would recommend it. if only it hadn't rained for two out of three days it would have been perfect.

  • Liked — the central courtyard, the bathroom, the location
  • Disliked — no external views

We stayed at the Migueletes Hotel in mid-April. The location was excellent - a short walk to shopping, restaurants and the bus to the Alhambra. The rooms were very clean. However, our room (a Junior Suite) was very dark inside and had only one small window. It was hard to see or read in the room - even with all the lights turned on. Although the room had plenty of space and decent furniture, it had a cave-like atmosphere. My mother in law had an Executive room with a small terrace and Alhambra view. The terrace was nice and the room was much brighter than ours, but it would have been quite small for two people. The staff members were friendly, cheerful and helpful. They provided good directions and excellent restaurant recommendations. The breakfast was held in a basement room (again, a bit like a cave) and was generous, but not exciting. The Migueletes is not a luxury hotel by any means, but it is a good value for tourists looking to sleep in a very clean room and spend most of their time away from it.

  • Disliked — The darkness of the rooms
