We recently stayed here during a two week trip around Spain, the hotel was in a great location, quiet neighborhood, easy to get to everything. The staff was super, really accommodating, friendly, etc. The rooms were a little small and not well soundproofed from the others. We had an executive with an view of the Alhambra, and it was really just ok, it was also 80 degrees, but the air conditioning could not be turned on before May, so kind of odd that way. Breakfast was nice, and they were super attentive to refill everything. I don't know that I would stay there again, probably try something else, it was really nice, but nothing special.

We just returned from Spain last week and it was fabulous! We found Room Mate Megueletes by researching on trip advisor. What a life saver. We took the advise from others so we booked 3 nights there, it was perfect. The location, staff and the charm if the hotel was just what we expected. If you are headed to Granada consider this boutique hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel which is conviently located in a historic quarter of central Granada at the foot of the Alhambra. The hotel has heaps of character and is a sympathetic conversion of an old building with a lovely courtyard and a comfortable lounge. We found reception very helpful and the breakfast buffet very good. A definate recommendation!

Super hotel right in the heart of the old area of Granada, within walking distance (though all uphill!) to the Alhambra Palace. There's also a bus which takes you right up to the palace entrance for only 1 Euro.
There is NO parking anywhere near the hotel and you will have to walk the last 50m or so from the nearest taxi drop. Parking is at an underground carpark about 10-15mins walk away, but frankly it is nice to be in a quiet area away from the traffic.
Our room was on the small side and very hot because of an unseasonal heatwave, but the staff found us an electric fan which kept the room more pleasant. The room overlooked a small gallery above a patio area, very nice to sit and read after a hot morning's sightseeing! An added bonus is a PC with free internet access in the lounge so you can look up opening times, train timetables and tomorrow's weather forecast.
The staff are very friendly and exceptionally helpful, especially if you book direct - they answer email queries very quickly. We booked direct because they gave the best rate anywhere on the internet.
Breakfast is buffet style - croissants, bread rolls and pastries, cereals, meat, cheeses, yoghourts, Spanish omelette, juices, coffee and lots of different fruit, served in a rugged cellar room.
We had a great stay at this lovely hotel and would thoroughly recommend it.

  • Liked — Clean, comfortable, good breakfast, friendly staff

This hotel was situated in a great place in Granada, very handy for the Alhambra and the vibey parts for people watching.
The courtyard atmosphere meant that it felt like a lovely stylish oasis in the buzzy city.
One thing thoug, a hotel that prides itself on a cutting edge appeal should really offer wireless internet. Good lord!

  • Liked — atmosphere and service
  • Disliked — no wireless and terrible tv in room
