From the moment we checked in, the hotel staff could not have been more helpful. Even if busy they went out of their way to
provide maps and recommendations as well as useful tips. Unlike many of this hotels' reviewers, we found the location without any trouble - although hidden away in a back street it's well signposted and only a stone's throw from the hill that takes you to the Alhambra.
Our room was beautifully furnished, spacious, very welcoming and had a wonderful view of the Alhambra, which floodlit at night is amazing. One warning, the Alhambra ticket office is located quite a way from the actual entrance. This is an uphill climb which I imagine is quite exhausting in the summer heat although there are buses and taxis to take you there. Again the hotel reception staff were very obliging.
Breakfast was extremely good - the ladies who looked after it were very attentive and as soon as a dish was looking depleted were very quick to replenish.
Casa de Migueletes was probably one of the best hotels we've stayed at and I would have no hesitation in recommending in to all

Very relaxed, laid-back atmosphere in a beautifully restored hotel.
Staff helpful and friendly.
This was our second stay in a Room Mate hotel and we went on the stay in the Larios in Malaga. I think they are excellent value.
Only thing I would warn about is that some travellers with rooms overlooking the courtyard don't seem to realise that when they open their windows they can be very clearly heard.

  • Liked — The atmospheric quality created by the beautifully restored building
  • Disliked — Some noise from other guests

This is our second Room Mate hotel, and we just loved it. It was very comfortable, very nice clean room, great location and friendly staff.
Breakfast included which is a great bonus.
We will look out for all the Room mate hotels as we make our way around Spain.

Had been staying in Seville for 4 nights but wanted to take in the Alhambra, so booked 1 night in Granada. I now wish it had not been so hurried as yet again we were lucky with our choice of hotel. Keep and eye on gables on side streets and you'll find sign for this sweet hotel. We had no sooner checked in at Lunchtime when we had to head for our allotted time at the Alhambra (everything you've hoped and more!). But we were ideally placed and on returning in the evening, rested and freshened up, accepted invite to Hotels bodega for complimentary sherry and olives. olives to die for actually, big, lush and falling from their stones. Met two english couples there, and exchanged stories from our local experiences. Nice experience alround.
Our train left early in the morning , so we needed brekfast on the dot, and (german?) man at desk could not have been more helpful! And what a buffet was available!..Wish we were not so rushed. man also ordered out taxi - small room , lovely hotel

  • Liked — little touches like apple, drinks hour, weather advise and Buffet selection
  • Disliked — small room with no view

Having read the previous reviews we can only agree! This is the best hotel experience we have ever had over many years of travelling in many countries. Found the hotel via Ryanair website and the hotel's website where a grand experience is offered. The Alhambra Suite was all that the web site promised and was a pleasure to use. We have not seen a hotel that is as much a part of a city's history and culture. The staff are excellent and the manager, Ana Raczkowski, is at the heart of running a very fine hotel. Her pride in the place sets the standards for the staff to follow and they do an excellent job. Congratulations and thanks go to her for making our stay so pleasurable. We could not fault the service of the staff. We loved Granada and the hotel added much to our pleasure. The breakfast is excellent and free internet access allowed us to contact our world after many weeks of travel. The alley that leads to the hotel, though criticised by some, adds to the charm of the hotel. The suite was: spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, well appointed and had a great view of the Alhambra. The hotel is well situated for access to the heart of the city within minutes and by a short walk. We accessed restaurants of value through the hotel's recommendation. I was taught to be cautious with praise but on this occasion it is thoroughly deserved and the Migueletes is very, very highly recommended to all.
