Beautiful hotel Spacious immaculate rooms
Only drawback was there were no tea making facilities.
Fantastic buffet breakfast EVEN FOR US VEGETARIANS.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
They will book any tickets you may need eg. hamam, alhambra, etc..
They booked our taxis for us to and from the airport
.
We stayed for 5 nights and we would definitely go back and stay there again.
COULDN'T FAULT THE PLACE.

Very rarely have we stayed in a hotel where I would give every aspect a 5* rating!
The service was brilliant - with the staff going that extra mile to help us out (even before we arrived they very patiently answered the deluge of questions I sent!). The room was lovely - with a fabulous view of the Alhambra and all you would need in it for a comfie stay. Breakfast was always well-stocked and ran until midday every day of the week which meant you could have a lie-in whenever you wanted! And overall the hotel was perfect - truly beautiful and in a fabulous location. There was really nothing else we could have asked for.
We can't say enough good things about this hotel! We were greeted upon arrival at the front door and taken care of as if our arrival were breathlessly anticipated. The attentiveness was wonderful, and this was the only hotel we stayed at during our trip in which our luggage was carried to our room and in which we were given a tour of the establishment.
The restaurant guide the hotel provided was certainly hepful, and the staff even booked us a dinner at Azafran restaurant, arranging for a table with a great view of the Alhambra. The hotel also provides free buffet breakfast, a free "happy hour" featuring sherry, olives, and chips, and free internet access.
The room was surprisingly large and we were not disappointed at all - we looked forward to coming back after sightseeing to relax. The bathroom was spacious, and my wife was extremely pleased with the accommodations provided.
Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we would recommend it highly to others.
We can only agree with all the other positive comments form other guests - great location for touring Granada, friendly staff, lovely rooms, good breakfast, nice reading room, free internet , great restaurant recommendations.
We flew to Granada from Barcelona and took the airport bus into the city for 3 euros per person and then a taxi to the hotel. We could have walked there, but it was midnight and the hotel is a little difficult to locate until you know where it is. Although late we were greeted like a family friend by the receptionist and given a brief tour of the accomodations.
The Granada tourist information office is directly across the street as you exit the alley from the hotel on to the plaza. The office can give you current info on the bus lines. Right now, the bus stop to the Albaicin (#31), which makes a loop tour, is at Plaza Nueva. Bus #32 loops through the Albaicin and then eventually reaches the Alhambra. Better to walk down the street to the Plaza Isabel Catholica (fountain) and catch Bus #30 which goes directly up to the Alhambra. The cost is 1 euro per person. We had purchased our Alhambra tickets on-line at the official Alhambra site which was easy to do. When you arrive at the Alhambra there is a machine where you put in the credit card you used to make the purchase and out comes your tickets.
We had dinner at two good restaurants - the Sevilla near rhe Royal Chapel and Aljibe De Trillo in the Albaicin. Both were recomended by the hotel and very good. Had drinks at a terrace cafe near San Nichols Point overlooking the Alhambra at sunset and it was beautiful.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and return for a stay. We would next time request a room in the back. We stayed in room 3 which was in the front of the hotel and heard guests coming in and out because one has to ring the bell after dark to gain admittance to the hotel. Not a big problem for us, but one should be aware of this.
