“Lovely hotel in a great location.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2014

I really enjoyed my stay there. The location was great, the room was very comfortable and the building is ancient and charming, really atmospheric. The staff were friendly and professional and happy to attend to all my requests. I also thought that breakfast was rather good with the right amount of choices and served in a nice little caffeteria-style room. I will definitely be back again!

An absolutely fantastic location on Calle del Darro, at the foot of the Alhambra and one minute walking distance from Granada's casco historico. The rooms are among the best we have ever been in, with woody floors and in a moresque-type of style. Very silent and away from the noise if the streets. The Palacio has two courtyards in the same Moorish fashion (simply beautiful!!!).
The people at the desk are superb in assisting you for any possible need and direction: competent and kind at the very best!
The breakfast is very good and served in a lovely room with blue Spanish tiles on the walls.
If we will be back in Granada one day, we will definitely book Palacio de Santa Ines again.
Warmly, warmly recommended !!!

Room Tip: Ask for rooms with a view at the Alhambra !

Stayed 2 nights in the charming historic hotel and enjoyed every minute. Get a room with a view of the Alhambra. It is definitely worth seeing lit up at night. There are really nice sitting areas in the court yard to just relax. The room size was big enough for 2 people and the bathroom was quite spacious with both a tub and shower. Breakfast was great. Fresh fruits, cheeses, and pastries. But what made this special was the history behind the building which the staff is more than willing to share. Their recommendations for dinner were excellent. Would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants some place out of the norm.

Beautiful historic hotel with real style, we had a suite on the 3rd floor with great views of the Alhambra, which included a jacuzzi , the room needed a smaller wardrobe and a bigger softer bed. Breakfast was excellent, and the arrangements to park our car and get a taxi , paid for by the hotel, was easy.

Stayed one night and was delighted by the location and Moorish design of the hotel with its two internal courtyards. Staff spoke good English and were friendly, professional and helpful. Great location for accessing Alhambra and sampling typical local cuisine.

This is a lovely romantic hotel in the old Albayzin district, all wood, tiles and whitewash - really beautiful. It was comfortable, cool (once we'd turned the radiators off!), and brilliantly situated in the heart of the old city, with easy access to the restaurants and the Alhambra. The staff were excellent, helpful to the last and very accommodating, and the room was large, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was buffet-style, but delicious - be brave: do try the variations not found in the UK!!

We were in Room 6 on the 2nd floor (no lifts, by the way), overlooking the atrium/courtyard, which was lovely, but was a little noisy with the return of the late night revellers at gone midnight, but it would not stop us staying again!

Do follow the guidance from the Hotel on getting there (there really is NO car access) but it is only just over half a mile from the main Plaza de Puerta Real with the car parks, so is easily walkable - or the taxi was only 5 euros.

Only stayed for one night and it was not long enough. Located perfectly for Alhambra with a great bar serving tapas right on the door step. The hotel itself is amazing, unique style, helpful staff and lovely breakfast
