We found Casa Morisca delightful and excellent value for money and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. For a romantic break the location cannot be beaten and the place simply oozes atmosphere and understated style, but it was the warm welcome and help we received from Ana at reception that made our visit really special. We had a 4-year-old child with us, but we were charged nothing for either her accommodation or her breakfasts – and she probably ate more that the two of us! Ana arranged a delightful English-speaking babysitter and also provided us with excellent directions to everywhere we wanted to go. She pre-booked tickets for the Alhambra which made our visit totally hassle-free and recommended taking lunch at the Parador while we were there, a treat that proved very special indeed (though having looked around the Parador’s accommodation, we were very pleased we had booked Casa Morisca as we feel it outshines the Parador in terms of style and atmosphere – especially when you compare prices). Yes, on first contact the staff members are not overly effusive (or intrusive), but they cannot be more helpful once you put a query to them. We definitely recommend making Casa Morisca your base for any visit to Granada.
