We stayed three nights at the Casa Morisca in September 2008. The hotel is located in the Alabacin district of the city, on a hill facing the Alhambra. On entering the hotel, you are greeted with a fantastic Moorish style courtyard with fountains etc. We arrived late in the evening, and the hotel receptionist was very helpful and provided maps and restaurant directions. Parking outside the hotel is limited, but there are other nearby streets where you can park for free.
We stayed two nights in the Mirador room, which is an attic room with fantastic views of the Alhambra but is rather small and is quite exposed to noise from outside. Additionally, we stayed one night in the suite, which has a jacuzzi bath, separate sitting area, and ornate wood ceilings. Both are priced at the same rate, but the suite is better value in my opinion. Breakfast is an additional €9, and was the usual Andalucian toast, pastries, ham etc.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Casa Morisca, but I feel the top rooms are overpriced and we found better value at other hotels we stayed at in Seville and Cordoba.
