We stayed here whilst touring the Costa del Sol and it's a lovely. charming little hotel tucked away up a side street.
The Moorish inspired decor and rooms are lovely as is the little sunken pool in the courtyard area. Some roomd look out on the Alhambra - we were lucky ours did too. Most rooms are designed individually. At night they had a roof that wold retract so you could see the night sky and stars as you were sitting in the courtyard. It was like being in Marakech.
Staff were friendly and willing to organise trips for you / hotel pickups and they spoke a variety of languages. The only problem we had was parking - we parked outside the hotel but they told us to move or face being towed away. My husband moved the car and returned about an hour later having had to serach in an already overcrowded city for parking during peak tourist season, Needless to say we had a 20 minute walk the next day uphil and down dale to find the car where he'd left it overlooking most of the city.
At night we were kept awake because there was some kind of flamenco bar / museum activity down the street but if I'm honest, it was only that we were worn out from travelling that we had an early night the first night - usually we'd have been out there along with everyone else taking part - it really was an amazing atmosphere.
Would stay again - we didn't view the Alhambra due to the sheer heat and humidity but would gladly return out f season when it's cooler. When we do, we'll book this hotel again. It was lovely.
