We (my husband, 34, and I, 33) spent 2 night at the Plaza Nueva (paid 40 euors/night). It's a small hotel, right in the middle of the main plaza. From our balcony, we had the best view of Al-Hambra (see pictures). The room was beatifully decorated, had a special feel to it. We didn't use of any of the other hotel services, so I can't say much about them. However, I know that you can have a breakfast buffet for 12euros/day, which we thought was overpriced: You can get a nice breakfast in any of the cafes around the plaza for half that price. As guests, we had free internet access at the lobby, however, the connection was down most of the time, and we realised that it is common problem throughtout Spain.
Al-Hambra is a a good 15-20mn walk (up a steep hill); as you exit the hotel to the Plaza Nueva, take the samll street in front of you and keep walking..it's that easy. The city bus will take you up the hill for 1euro. But, unless you're very tired or sick etc, you shouldn't miss the walk to the Al-Hambra (very nice gardens, fresh air). Go early in the morning, between 6 and 9. You will love it.
We will definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to all our friends and family.
