“Boutique style hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2013

I travelled with my partner to Hotel Parraga Siete, having already stayed here last summer. The hotel is charming and has that boutique style feel. The interior design is contemporary and clean. Whilst most of the staff do not speak much English this did not cause any problems. We speak a little Spanish and it's great to experience being in Spain and making an effort to communicate.

Reception is very small but friendly and efficient. We checked in in less than 2 minutes and were given the free wi-fi code without having to ask for it. There is complimentary water and juice available in reception too.

We were given the same room as the last time we stayed (26 on the second floor). The room overlooks the street at the front but was not at all noisy, apart from the church bells which we heard occasionally. The bed was very comfortable. A few things could improve the bedroom: there are no drawers to store clothes in. There is one hard chair in the room (an armchair would be better), the TV has no English channels not even CNN. Other than that these are not major drawbacks.

The bathroom is a good size and there is a shower but no bath. One annoying niggle is that you can't have the bathroom light on without the lights over the clothes hanging space in the main bedroom. Also, there are very thin curtains at the bathroom window which means at night the occupants opposite on the other side of the street could probably see in if the bathroom light was on!

A nice touch is the delivery of a complimentary bottle of mineral water each evening to the room.

We tried to order room service late one afternoon but were told that the kitchens were closed until 8pm - this was not made clear in the in room directory of hotel services, and for a hotel I would have expected room service to be available all day.

The small bar downstairs is friendly but was very busy on both the Friday and Saturday evenings we were there. The restaurant attached to the bar is again clean and modern and the service was excellent as was the food.

We would definitely stay here again as it is in a great location in central Granada, easy to get to once you know the route in, and the car parking is a 5 minute walk away in the public Victoria Car Park.

“english a major problem”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2012

We drove into Granada after dark and it was quite difficult to find the hotel - GPS and all. The location ended up being very good - in walking distance to El Alhambra. The rooms are small but clean. Be aware that the shower and toilet are not cut off from the bedroom. There is no cupboard space so they do not expect you to stay too long here. But the most annoying problem was that whenever we needed something from reception there was no one there who spoke a word of English. Check out was quite difficult as the girl on reception tried to call someone to help translate and did not succeed.

“Modern Hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

Very modern hotel in easy walking distance of Alhambra. The hotel was extremely modern and smart, so modern that we had trouble finding how things worked. Our room looked out on backs of old flats, not very attractive, we kept the blind drawn. This made the room feel claustrophobic .There was a smart central lounge on the floor. Hotel staff brought a bottle of water each day which was a nice gesture. We had breakfast two doors away in a Spainish cafe with local business men. This hotel will appeal to people who like very modern decor.

Room Tip: Rooms which face the front may be better.

“Fantastic choice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

Essential but modern, functional and really comfortable. Lovely rooms and service. Great attention to details (like a fresh water bottle every night on the room desk). Excellent quality/prize ratio. Nice stay in Granada and close to the sites.

“Lovely Hotel & Very Modern!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

My wife and I spend 3 nights here at the end of September. Very classly hotel, clean, and modern. The staff was quite friendly and welcomed any questions we had (they spoke great English). The small attached restaurant (Vitolia) was a nice place to have coffee and toast in the morning and a drink in the evening prior to going out. Great hotel at a great price. If I ever get back to Granada I will be staying here again!
