Stayed at this hotel for two nights and was thoroughly impressed by the standard of service. Almost everything you could need is provided in the rooms, which are pleasantly decorated, well insulated and clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful and not at all of the 'I work in a five star hotel and will barely condescend to deal with you' mould. But best of all were the beds! I could not believe how comfortable they were and found it hard not to have a little nap every time I lay down on them!
Grouch elements are: we paid extra to stay in this hotel because it was supposed to have a gym. AC Hotels group, take note: two broken running machines and a set of weights reaching a maximum of 10kg does not a fully-equipped gym make! Also, the roadworks immediately outside the hotel meant that the entrance reminded one of an urban war-zone, and the drilling became rather wearing at siesta time (despite the best efforts of the lovely bed to lull me to sleep).
Overall, however, the hotel is really good value and in a great location in the heart of Granada. Note - it's not near the Alhambra, but you wouldn't want to be, unless you are a dedicated hill-walker.
