“One of my favorite places on the planet!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

As a student in Granada, I spent many weekend days strolling through the streets of the Albayzin and stopping in the tea houses along the way. There is nothing better than spending time here - from sipping tea to shopping for authentic Morrocan goods - this is the place to be! We were there in July for our honeymoon and my husband and I spent each night in the tea houses, enjoying desserts and socializing with other couples. Don't miss out!

“Enjoy the baggling”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

Windy streets of shops selling all sorts of Moorish styled goods. A fun experience especially you can haggle a little in Spanish.
This are has never felt unsafe to me.

“Just get lost...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2013

And you will want to. Once you enter these narrow streets you will find it hard to want to leave. Beautiful, full of shops, restaurants, bars and curiosities. As you wind your way around you will hear buskers playing traditional flamenco guitar. The arabic influence is everywhere, just stop in to the restaurants and sample something of the exotic. Amazing.

“not my cup of tea, but still one of the nicest parts of Granada”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2013

The old Arab part of Granada has many narrow streets, where you have to watch not to step in dog poop. You will find shops where you can buy souvenirs, little restaurants, and some churches.
