My husband and I stayed here two nights. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were tiny. This is not a luxury hotel.
The walls of our room were stone and the "closet" was a few shelves in a niche with a curtain over it. The windows opened out over the patio restaurant below which was kind of neat. If you want convenience to the Alhambra, it would be tolerable for a couple of nights. The whole place also has that ancient sewer smell you find all over Spain.

Excellent choice if you are looking for a peaceful and charming hotel. I was lucky to get the room 110 with a balcony and a wonderful jasmin. Owners were very nice and friendly and I really want to come back.
It's very well located, right in the hearth of La Alhambra, and in a minute you can get to the Plaza of Algibes, Nazari Palaces and Alcazaba.

Having booked a room in the hotel last year august by telephone with the hotel's receptionist, we arrived at the hotel one evening and found that our booking had been entered on the wrong day (i.e. before that we had agreed upon). The owner insisted that we had to pay the night which we didn't stay there, before he would let us stay the night that we actually arrived. It was not possible to come halfway between both sides.
A rather nasty experience.

We stayed one night at this hotel. The Room was clean and the hotel was quiet. The staff is, as noted in other posts, not the best.

At this hotel, you are in the middle of the Alhambra, but you are far from town. Walking into town isn't hard (it's down hill) and you can take a bus for 85e.

The restaurant at the Parador is the only one nearby. It's pretty good.

If staying one night and wanting maximum time at the Alhambra, this is an OK choice. The Parador would be the best choice, however.
