We stayed in this hotel for 3 days in July 2006, and it was absolutely lovely. It is right next to the Alhambra - so much so that if you visit the outdoor restaurant on the top floor, in the evening, you can see it lit up in all its glory.
Our room was immaculate, and a decent size. The only criticism would be that the rooms don't have balconies to enjoy the gorgeous views.
The hotel has a really nice pool, with free sun loungers, and during our stay they had poolside massages and reflexology treatments available.
If you walk down to the entrance of the Alhambra there is a little bus that runs every 5 minutes or so, right into the centre of Granada. It starts around 7am and continues until about 11.30pm, and is incredibly cheap ( less than a euro).
There are also other restaurants in the immediate vicinity should you not want to eat at the hotel.
The breakfast in the hotel was impressive though, and they do a very reasonable buffet lunch including andalucian specialities.
I can't recommend this place more - very good value for money, great location, and a good way to experience Granada & the Alhambra.
