The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is a 2 minute walk to the Alhambra entrance, making it very convenient. Parking is at a slightly reduced rate of 12 € per day, in the Alhambra parking lot. Access to town center is by a 15 minute walk or a 1 € bus ride.
The lobby is small but clean. There is a small bar as well as a very small lounge area. There is a single computer for high speed internet - it is free, if you can get on it.
There is a small elevator which worked fine.
The rooms are of small to average size, with nice vinyl windows and metal shutters which seal tightly shut - to block out both noise and sunlight. We had no need for AC at this time of year. The rooms are a bit older, but everything is clean and works fine. The bathrooms are average in every way. The toilet plumbing makes a loud noise when flushing. The rooms walls are very thin; the neighborhood itself is quiet, but if you have loud neighbors this could be a problem. In summary, these are average rooms, nothing really special or dilapidated about them.
The restaurant was also average. The breakfast was good. The dinner was not my favorite, and I would dine elsewhere in the future.
The staff was friendly and helpful and english-speaking.
All in all, the location was hard to beat for the price, but the amenities are only fair. If you need fancy digs, go elsewhere. If you want location above all else, this place fits the bill.
