If you only have a little luggage, you could walk to the Hotel Condor from the small Granada train station, but it is only a 5 min taxi ride. A modern hotel on a main street, it is well located for sightseeing: a 5-10 min. walk to the Plaza Nueva, the mini-buses to the Alhambra and the Moorish quarter (the Albayzin) and the Cathedral. We had a triple room that really was a small suite, 2 rooms with 4 twin beds. A/C was not good, but weather was pleasant and there were windows in each room. Alley in back was noisy in evening, but quiet during the night. Staff attentive, asked directions to Restaurante Velazquez and manager said he liked to eat there as well (highly recommended). The premier place in town to stay is the Parador on the Alhambra grounds, excepting that, we were very pleased with this hotel and it may have had a better locatiion for other activities, such as dinner. Overall, a pleasant stay.
