Very nice, clean, and comfortable - great location near Plaza del Nuevo and friendly, accommodating staff. They even had washcloths , a delight after traveling for 2 weeks in Morocco and Spain!

We stayed for 3 nights in May, it was close to everything we wanted to see, walking distance to all the major sights, the rooms were not great but are definitely a good value. lots of good restaurants in the neighborhood,
we had a rental car, and trying to get to the hotel to drop off or pick up bags was definitely next to impossible, we parked in a garage about 2 blocks away and rolled our bags, the streets everyone told us to take to get there was one way the wrong way, and we ended up driving through Sacromonte, which was a challenge in itself. A man on a scooter pulled up withj an OFFICIAL TURISTICA BADGE AND GOT US STRAIGHTENED AROUND, COST US 1.5 EUROS, they are actually a scam, and some try to rip you off, but for 2 dollars it was well worth it. I definitely recommend the hotel.

This hotel was located one block off the main street which was one block from the bus stop where we got off the city bus when we arrive here and the airport shuttle was also one block away.. We arrived by bus from another city and transferred to the local bus.The city bus was 1E ea. We got off at the cathedral. When we left we took the shuttle to the airport for 2E ea. Great location to the Alhambra and many restaurants as well. It was on a quiet street. We were on the 4th floor and the room was very quiet for a busy city. Kathy at the front desk is from Iowa and has worked here for about 20 years so she knows the town and is very helpful. We didn't have tickets for the Alhambra and she helped us get them in the morning of the same day. The breakfast room was very nice with cushy chairs. They even warmed the rolls in the morning. This was one of the cleanest hotels on our vacation. Someone was always cleaning something. The internet was 1E for 15 minutes.

We were to stay at a different place but it was terrible; found this in the Rick Steves book. I read other reviews of this hotel but we had a very good experience. We got a room with a terrace which the view wasn't great but it was nice to have the full glass doors. The room smelled fine, the A/C worked, the staff was very nice & breakfast is included if you show the receptionist the Rick Steves book - he recommends AnaCapri. The breakfast was very good. Overall a good experience for us.

Like some other reviews mentioned, our small hotel room stunk of cigarettes, even though it was "sin fumar". The street noise was loud, and our beds were not too great. We could not find the hotel and had to park in a 30e parking lot and walk around to find it. Note, the NH hotel has a great parking garage and an arrangement with the Ana Capri, but maybe its better just to stay at the NH.
On the plus side. The location is good, and there are a lot of good eats, bars and stores nearby. The staff was very nice and more then willing to help us in any way.
