We stayed in this hotel for Christmas '06. We read reviews to the effect that it was noisy but because we were pressed for time we opted for it nevertheless. Lo and behold, the reviews were correct and our nights were filled with a cacophonous symphony of ringing church bells, stiletto heels on tiled corridors and, most annoying of all, the sound of what we believe was furniture being dragged along the tiled floors overhead. This symphony, might I add, commenced at 5 a.m. sharp. When we informed the receptionist about this on our departure we did not even receive an apology or acknowledgement. Otherwise the hotel was in a good location close to the city centre and all the main sites of interest were within walking distance, unless of course one was wearing stilettos (beware of the cobbles in Granada)! The restaurant was good and the waiting staff were friendly, but we found the standard of this 4 star to be inferior to those in which we stayed in Madrid. Buen viaje!
