Macia Plaza exceeded our expectations. It was clean, had good facilities and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Accommodation is on the cramped side but that is to be expected for a Hotel in its category. It could not be in a better location for all the major sights, shopping and eating out. On the subject of eating, while the breakfast is adequate and not overpriced, I would still recommend venturing outside to eat. As I have always found to be the case in Spain, a few yards away you will get a magnificent breakfast with PROPER coffee for less than you would pay in your Hotel. Other than that, a great place.

Agree with all the reviews - in fact this is why we picked this hotel. Good price and excellent facilities -esp. the remote air con.

Breakfast was excellent. The position was the best feature - you can see the Alhambra from the square and the Albaycin is close by - would recommend the teteria (tea house) Banuelo for a moorish pot of arabic tea.

Also recomment the bono turistica - a good buy if you´re there for a few days and intend to do the lot (nb science park closed til 30th Sept.)

Very clean and comfortable. The room was a good size. The bathroom was nicely fitted out with a shower and a tiny bath. The location was excellent. Parking nearby costs 13 euros a day.
