We spent one night at Los Tilos for about 80 Euros. It was a clean and accommodating hotel with needed air conditioning. I would not recommend the hotel to anyone who just needs a place to sleep before hitting the Alhambra. It was very difficult to find, as you cannot drive directly to the hotel and while being on the plaza is really neat, it's noisy if you just need to sleep. I went round and round with clerk at the desk over getting directions. He did not speak much English and my Spanish was lacking at that late hour. For convenience, we paid 7 Euros for the hotel breakfast, which was quite disappointing after other lovely buffets we'd been enjoying in Spain. The hotel let us leave all of our bags while we toured the Alhambra.

Los Tilos would have been a much better fit if we had planned on spending more time in Granada and if we had paid the off season rate for the hotel.

We were told by a friend to stay at Hotel Los Tilos. We loved the hotel. It was in a great location. It was 55e a night, but no continental breakfast (I think it was maybe 7e if you wanted it). Friendly staff. They called our next hotel to reconfirm our reservation for us with no problems. The staff was always friendly. My only complaint was trying to make the reservation. I emailed them 3 times and never heard back. On their website it says making reservations online wasn't available at the time. I had the correct email and was disappointed when they didn't write me back. I finally got a calling card and called them. With my broken spanish and his broken english we were able to make reservation just by giving my credit card number. Other than that we were pleased with the hotel, very clean too! We also enjoyed the use of the safe in the room. Good air conditioning as well.

Second time to stay here. Location is on the Plaza Bib Rambla and is great for seeing all of Granada. Cost was $55euro/double. They speak English and had no problem booking by email. Breakfast pricey, but location on square was good for any meal. Room clean, good bathroom with shower and hair dryer, can get view of square for people watching. Small patio on fourth floor can be noisy late if people are out there. [----------]
Easy walk to all spots worth seeing.

The rooms are small but clean. The place is in a beautiful location and the staff are very nice. I would recommend this to anyone going to Granada. The price was excellent!
