This is a great little hotel right in the thick of the town on a pedestrian streets, surrounded by tapas and restaurants, one block or so from both the cathedral and Plaza Nueva. Super location but unfortunately the town placed a large green glass and bottle recycling container on the sidewalk right across from the front door and right under half of the windows of the hotel. So if you like to sleep between 12 midnight and 3 am you need to have some good ear plugs or hope it is either cold enough to keep the windows shut or hot enough to run the airconditioner (if it is working). All night long people walking by would through their botlles into the conatiner where they would crash and break. Also the tapa bar owners would bring down all their bottles all night long and drop 20 or more bottles at a time. Ever wonder what it sounds like to hear twenty beer bottles or wine bottles crashing from 8 feet? Well stay here and you will find out. Also the refridge did not work and the staff was told and they shrugged their shoulders like "so?". They had a pretty nice breakfast buffet - for a charge. By the way, Granada is a big city surrounding the old city. We drove a car into town to deliver to AVIS. It is a very tough place to drive, lots of traffic, narrow streets and most are one way and there are no turns at many intersetcions and many streets in the center are for only taxis.
