“Comfortable at the right price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 days ago NEW

This hotel is in an excellent position for seeing the sites of Granada. The Alhambra was only a short bus ride away and we could walk to everywhere else. The staff were helpful and the room spacious. I have never seen such a large bathroom for such a medium priced hotel.

Location good for all major sightseeing opportunities. Vey helpful staff. Clean, quiet rooms which was surprising due to the location being central. Breakfast average and area for eating could be overcrowded when every one wanted a 9.30 breakfast! Over all a great place to stay to explore Granada. Good Value for money, great staff, comfortable rooms. Everything it says on the can !

Room Tip: We had second floor room above reception ,across from the bars no problem with noise ,just a little...

Stayed here for three nights in mid April. Hotel was clean, very conveniently located, friendly staff. On the downside found the rooms to be small. For those not used to sleeping with mattress springs, a good nights sleep maybe a problem. An iron in the room would help. Bathrooms were surprisingly good with a bath tub and bidet!! Breakfast was fair. The quality of the cereal especially muesli was not good as was the lack of prunes raisins nuts etc. on the other hand the chorizo provided was top quality.

We stayed at the Hotel Inglaterra in Granada, Spain, between Oct. 29 & Nov 2, 2014. We found the hotel to be clean, the lobby cheerful, and the location extremely convenient. Pacqui, the lady at the reception desk, was especially helpful. And Carmen, who manages the dining room, was kind, welcoming, and good-humored. We loved her! We would return to this hotel on a future trip to Granada.

Having stayed in other NH branded hotels, I was disappointed in the standard and service at this one.
Above the entrance, the N from the hotel name was missing and there is no ramp so you have to drag your luggage up possibly 6 steps to the reception desk.
We were greeted by what appeared to be the duty manager and a trainee neither with name badges and throughout the check in process, we were spoken to twice, once to ask for our name and passports and the other advising our room number. Not welcoming at all.
Our room was quite shabby with scuff marks all over the floor, the cupboard door covering the fridge removed with yellow tape holding part of it together and the curtains didn't close properly.
The toilet seat was not secured and the bath plug not attached to the chain. Both were still useable and I can only assume that housekeeping were already aware as these issues are easily seen if they'd cleaned.
The only amenities provided were tissues, one bar of soap per stay and shower gel. There was also no safe.
I've stayed in far worse hotels but also lesser priced ones that have provided much more than what's on offer here. I can only hope they've fixed these problems as it seems like the NH brand just didn't care.

We stayed THREE NIGHTS and E.V.E.R.Y. Night crowds congragated under my windows lurking in the alley partying. Every night it started at THREE in THE MORNING. EVERY NIGHT THE CROWD--up to 15 people on FRIDAY NIGHT--stayed in the alley, as, THERE IS AN EMPTY BUILDING for them to hang out in front of, drank and Smoked joints. Now, there is an IRISH PUB across the street on the main drag and although there is some noise from it, when it closed, the noise stopped. The problem is from the people looking for a secluded place--unseen-- where they can get high, drink, sing, and be kids. THAT IS FINE. I'm JUST TRYING TO GET SOME S.L.E.E.P.! Here is my advice: Stay here IF YOU CAN GET a ROOM Not across from the parking garage. Get ear plugs, if you came in on the TRAIN HOTEL check your courtesy pack, it has ear plugs. Drink MORE WINE right before going to bed. Do not stay in 205,207,305,307. IT IS LIKE MARDI GRAS ON BOURBON STREET in NEW ORLEANS!! Other than that now at 4:30 A.M. the crowd has grown to 35 and they are beating on cans and singing, still passing around joints,I guess this is an O.K. place. But, if you LIKE TO GET A GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP--ALL NIGHT--then make sure you don't get a room on the street!

This is a good mid-range hotel. Our room on the fifth floor had a spectacular view of the Alhambra, which was the real kicker. I gather there are only one or two rooms with such a great view - ours was 501 - so I recommend paying the extra bit and asking for this. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Downside: the elevator only reaches Floor 3, so the top two floors are not for those who mind stairs! Staff were supremely helpful. Location is excellent - v close to the Cathedral and bus stop for Alhambra. Breakfast was nothing spectacular but was very reasonable. Overall, a winner if you take the right room.
