“Bowled over by gourmet quality, expert and passionate staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2013

This excellent deli sells its meats and cheeses on one half of the shop and serves it up to order on the other half. Started in 1912 and has five stores in Granada. We went to the one next to El Corte Inglesis. Red wine and a tapas of jamon was 2.70. We stayed for another 3 rounds of the same, each time the quality and the quantity increased notably, he even let us try different wines before we chose. People were coming in after work for a small bite and a natter. It's not designed for lingering with white counters and only 3-4 tall tables that could only fit 3-4 people max. Great for single travellers wanting to have high quality food with no hassle as prices and descriptions are clear though in Spanish. Staff able to speak passable English to help you out.

“Brilliant tapas and wonderful wine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

Their tables outside may not look very wonderful but this deli come tapas bar serves some wonderful dishes and the quality of their first rate. The prices were very reasonable for downtown Granada; it is located just behind the El Corte Ingles

“Amazing Tapas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

Within walking distance of our hotel - hotel Carmen.
We visited this modern bar which is situated within a Delicatessen. On both of our visits we drank delicious red wine, which were accompanied with a plate of tasty Tapas.
Having had our taste buds tempted, we then ordered plates of ham and cheese.
This arrived with a large basket of bread and was accompanied by a wide smile from the staff member. In creditably fresh and delicious food representing excellent value for money.
Highly recommended.

“melon gazpacho”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

Mariscal was a walking distance to my hotel ; Vinnci Albayzin . Just take a seat , order melon gazpacho + mariscal salad and eat your fingers! It's a very laid back place. The staff are very nice as well. It's value for money as well. so if you are thinking of your budget + a delicous meal , this is the place.

“Best breakfasts in town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

Half shop, half tapas bar/restaurant, the Mariscal Delicatessen serves a variety of well-prepared breakfasts, lunches, and tapas based on a vast selection of high-quality jam, cheese, and vegetables. First stopped there for breakfast one day, came back for tapas a few days later, became hooked and went there almost on a daily basis to satisfy my cravings for Iberian ham bocadilla plus fresh orange juice. Will return as soon as I'm back in town!
