“Very interesting and don't be rushed”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2014

Usually a queue and you will need to be appropriately dressed or entry will be refused, you can buy a wrap from an unofficial seller outside - Once inside it must be one of the most amazing cathedral i have ever visited - Lots to see and take your time, a guide book will explain all the various elements and help with the flow of the visit - Worth visiting as it is cool inside so a good afternoon thing to do

“Awesome”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2014

We did not enter the cathedral due to paucity of time . But the external architecture itself is awesome .The cathedral was built on the site of an old mosque . Since we were staying at Macia Gran Via , we walked down . There are a number of shops selling tea leaves nearby .

“Impressive”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2014

The cathedral is an obligatory place to visit, the entrance fee costs €4, it has three enormous naves, with chapels alongside the two exterior naves that run parallel to the main central aisle, that finishes on a very impressive domed altar. Behind the altar the two external aisle meet forming a curve, where you will find more chapels and the exit through a souvenir shop. Just looking at the architecture alone will help you appreciate the beauty of this place.

“Beautiful cathedral to rival others”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2014

If you like visiting cathedrals and other religious sites then this is for you. Inside are to be found ancient vestments and other religious artefacts used during Mass centuries ago. There are plenty of side chapels to be seen, dedicated to the Saints.

Entry costs €4 or €6 if you want a portable headset. No photos are allowed, however the majority of the visitors seemed to ignore this rule, something which I consider to be completely disrespectful in what is primarily a place of worship.

As with many attractions and shops in Spain, it closes for lunch and re-opens at 4pm.

“Jaw dropping - definitely a must visit!”

The cathedral is one of my favorites - it's very impressive. Yes, the history is hard to swallow but looking at the architecture alone will help you appreciate the beauty of this place.
