“Smoking inside and bas shuttle”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2013

During the show, the staff was smoking inside the cueva with the doors closed and the smoke was suffocating for me, that have asthma. Before the show, the shuttle picked us up at the hotel door, but after the show, they left us on another street and it was raining!!! Totally disrespectiful. Terrible experience

“Dancing Great, Service Horrible”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013

We went to this show on the recommendation of some friends who are local Granadinos. They said they had seen a lot of shows and this one was one of the best. I will agree that the dancing was awesome. The first group of dancers was much better than the second group but we saw almost an hour's worth of dancing, which is more than many of the other shows are providing. The male dancers had fantastic facial expressions and passion. Many of the other reviews are correct in that they are also providing water downed drinks.

However, what really bothered me and what caused my much lower than normal rating was the fact that because we bought independent tickets, meaning we came by ourselves and not part of a tour group, they made us wait to enter and sat us in the back behind all of the tour groups. We arrived early because the reviews said to arrive early to get the prime seats but because we didn't belong to one of the tour groups they "work" with we were held back from entering and they let groups who arrived AFTER us enter and placed us in the back.

Apparently, if you are going as a group it is fine but not as an individual.

“Great Experience!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

My friend and I chose this show based on internet reviews. We had a great time to complement our overall excellent experience in Granada.
The dancers were very professional, portraying passion, melancholy and exquisite performance.
the only negative thing about the experience is the loud (and sometimes) drunk tourists who attend just because it's the typical touristy activity to do and have no actual taste or appreciation for performing arts.
When we expressed our dissatisfaction to the owner during the break, he offered us a complementary second visit on the following night to enjoy the performance. We were not particularly luck either, since another Japanese tourist group were even louder than the Hungarian one from the previous night. They kept applauding and imitating the singers. We tried as much as possible to enjoy the show and take pictures of the beautiful performance.

“Dancing with passion”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013

I think most of the disappointed folk must have been in the small theatre part. DONT sit there if you can avoid it. Get seated in the cave and best of all (because we had a fantastic guide) get seated along the cave wall. You can't get closer to the dancers than this. The dancers put their body and soul into their performances and how they do that night after night is amazing. Our guide, who knows the dancers well, gave us thumbnail reviews of each and how to spot each one. They obviously have a core group which rotate through the nightly performances. The owner and senior dancer is in her 80s with huge vigour! Sorry for those who thought the dancers were bored. We had been to a free session in a bar the previous night and the difference was amazing. There was plenty of passion when we were there. The dancers move between the two areas and swap at the half time. Another thought. Don't buy the meal. You are in Granada. Go to a good tapas bar before of after.

“Disappointing”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2013

A mechanical routine with no connection to the real meaning of Flamenco. Costumes were basic, facial expression non-existent, and performers as bored as zoo animals. Managment needs to do a better job of presenting this Spanish traditional dance.
