“Perfect location and great staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2012

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. As a family of 4, we were accomodated in two separate rooms which were next to each other. The rooms are spacious, well appointed, and looked out onto one of the side streets which was more quiet although the view wasn't that great. The wi-fi access was free of charge and worked pretty well and there was a decent choice of TV channels.

One of the highlights of the hotel was the front desk staff who were extremely helpful during our stay. They gave us recommendations for restaurants for dinner which were excellent, and also told us which cafés in the neighbourhood were a good idea for breakfast.

The hotel is very centrally located: the cathedral is just accross the Gran Via de Colón and Plaza Nueva is a short walk away. During our short stay the rooftop bar wasn't open, but the terrace is still accessible for a fantastic view of the Alhambra and the rest of the city.

Room Tip: Rooms looking onto the side roads are quieter.

perfect location (walking distance everywhere), cosy rooms but surprisingly spacious in a boutique hotel. The jr suite on the 4th floor is especially recommendable and has an adjacent connecting room, perfect for for families.
there´s a small but useful spa with indoor pool, aswell as a nice small restaurant (mostly opens on weekends).
free wifi (works very well and covers all the building perfectly)
rooms have comfortbale beds, nice amenities, and walk-in showers or bathtubs.
the rooftop terrace is great for the summer, nice views over the cathedral (right in front) and part of the Alhambra.
I think it´s a great choice for those looking into a comfortbale hotel in the center. Expect attentive nice staff.

For sightseeing and shopping around Granada city and then enjoying tapas bars this hotel is in a great location just opposite the Cathedral. Very comfortable rooms although bathroom layout wasn't to my liking. The shower and toilet were in separate glass cubicles but within the room with wash basin to the side. The hotel has a nice roof terrace bar from which you can enjoy the views of the Alhambra. The staff are very helpful and pleasant.

Room Tip: Avoid being close to the top floor due to noise from the roof terrace.

Hotel had a good location in the center of the city, but seems to be run by only one girl. The hotel lacked all ammenities such as NO concierege, bellboy, room ammenities, bartender, room service etc. Bathroom shower floor flooded. No turn down or towel replenishment. Not even a piece of paper or pencil or phone number in the room. No hotel address cards on the desk. Breakfast overpriced for what they give you. Hard to even get a cup of coffee. The only saving grace this hotel has is the nice girl behind the front desk who seems to do everything!!!

Night-time view from the roof bar very pretty.

Room Tip: Don't stay here!

Perfect location for just about anything you want to do, beautifully appointed rooms and staff that will go above and beyond. Very good breakfast, ensuite is roomy and positively luxurious. If staying on the 4th floor the rooftop terrace can make your room a bit noisy at night, and the views aren't as great as advertised: minor problems, considering everything else.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2012

We spent 4 nights in Granada in June 2012, comments as follows:
a) Location on the main street 10/10
b) View from terrace bar excellent 10/10
c) Reception excellent/helpful and nice small lounge area 10/10
d) View from room really non existent but this is a city centre hotel and our room looked into a side street..but this kept the room quiet.
e) Bedroom very well appointed although a bit small. 8/10
f) Bathroom open plan...glass doors on the cubicles but not really private enough 5/10
g) Air conditioning kept the room cool but it was a little variable
h) Good TV but limited stations....recommend adding SKY and BBC News chanels.
i) Nice buffet breakfast with very nice eggs bacon cooked on demand. Bread quality a bit disappointing. 8/10
We enjoyed the hotel and its location but the bathroom arrangements were a little too modern for us.

Built over Roman ruins (which one can see under one's feet through the glass floor as you enter), this hotel has been impeccably renovated (decor is minimalist modern), with excellent service, especially from the reception desk staff, who function as a concierge, giving us uncannily happy choices for dining in the neighborhood. The rooms are adequate, and the service solicitous. We stayed three days and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Highly recommended
